House on B.I.S. Rd
In 1899, a sixteen year old maid named Gail Parish and her father came from nearby Athens County to work for the family of the mansion. Her father, a blacksmith, hired a young man named Johnny Kelly to assist him in the smithy. Gail and Johnny soon became lovers, and when her father and the owners of the mansion found out, they forbade to two ever to see each other again. Jilted, Johnny broke into Gail’s room one night and slit her throat with a shaving knife. In her blood on the stairwell he wrote “If I cannot have you, no one can.” It is said that if one uses a Ouija board to conjure the spirit of Gail, her calico dress will appear in the closet.

its big and its got windows in it and its got a jacuzzi in back with a pool and inside its got 10 bedrooms and 3.5 baths with some old carpet and it smeels like fish and its haunted its pretty creepy inside ive been their done that but forget that i wanna know what u look like not the house. hit me up

mac daddy where exactly is this house? this is the first time im hearing bout this ledgend. ive been looking up all sorts of ghost stories bout ohio. but never heard of this one.

That story sounds almost too much like the one of Louisa Fox at Egypt Valley near Barnesville.

this is no joke, me and a few friends got to go inside the house a few weeks ago. my dads a cop and he got us in no problem, we did do a ouija board and we gt no reply of such, but weird things happening, louisa almost fainted and we got real cold, as we headed upstairs we saw a chest of drawers, then there was a huge bang from its direction and very faint screams, like a whistling noise, this may ahve been our imagination but we all heard it, please feel free to e-mail me, breznumba7@hotmail.com

yeah. i lived in Lancaster for about two years and i’ve heard a ton of stories about the mudhouse mansion but can’t find any info on it other than what locals have told me.

hey i have been to the mud house and i have to say i got a really bad vibe from just being on the road and idk if its haunted but me and a group of friends are going there over night with video cameras to see if the roomer is true so if you want hit me up or comment me back and ill send you the videos

I have always wanted to go to mud house mansion i live about 4 miles from it, but ms. Mas the women who owns it has ppl watch it like 24/7 so i never have went! They fire guns and ****, but i would really like to its creepy, even when you just drive by it
