House on King St.
In this house, a family of four was brutally murdered. Since that time, the family is said to haunt this house. There are reports of footsteps emanating from the attic, though it is blocked off. It is said that lights will flash on and off, cabinets will open and close, and doors will slam. There is also one report of a little boy of no more than seven appearing in various rooms of the house but disappearing when anyone says anything.
I would love to know where on King St this house is and if the owners ever give tours!

i went ther this whole storie is true but ther is a bridge you must cross to get to it and i went with some people and we got stuck on the bridge then we had topush the car off the bridge then it started back up then on the way back home we had to go across it again and it stalled out again but the place is really scary

No im not the doug from maryland i have class not to talk like that! anyway I live in york pa i dont know the address of that house but as for crossing a bridge was it over the creek or the highland ave bridge?spoken of?there are lots of haunted house’s here mine as well the roofer fell and died when the house was under construction and the owner died on the front porch 6 years ago this past june. and every house ive lived in has had ghosts . ive seen enough to know they are real.

Doug From york again For those of you who want to know about my house it reminds you of the amitville house( by the way ive seen it ) it a wonderful house. i have had people say they can tell its haunted just by looking at it! and being in the yard or the pool you feel your being watched and you look at the house with those third floor windows looking at you . when we moved in and were painting the house the guy painting the back porch was shoved off the latter side ways i seen it we were talking . i gusse the owner didnt like the changes. he also loved the jungle of trres he hid the house with we cut down over 50 of them 2 time the guy gutting the trees was pushed the 1st time the latter was pushed out from under him he hung on to a branch the lady up the street came running to hel i never heard him scream the house was sound proof . the next time the same guy was pushed and hit the ground. i told the ghost we are trying to make the place look nice then it stoped but things still happend thing would vanish here voices the washer turns its self on the water heat gets hotter after it is turn back down all the clocks stop at the same time and they are all wound . I have evan seen the shadow of the or should i say a male ghost. and some of this stuff has just happend again in the last 2 weeks but ill stay in my house the ghost can stay to as long as they are good ghost’s at the house known as (high hopes) on Norway st,the same name as the Defeo’s house in amityville

this is really cool i think we have a ghost haunting our house his name is Meon Primo Del Galpon, we are not sure who he is but we hear the TV on when its off and we hear footsteps at night we also hear the radio on at night too!We also see figures of people . we found a phone number in our garage written next to Meons name and we called it 2 the first time we left a message and they never called back and the second time they answered and we hung up. thats all!

One time I was taking a dump outside behind this place, and a damn frog jumped near me, scaring the holy **** out of me, I crapped on my new Levi’s and everything. South Central PA has a lot of history. I’ve heard of a lot of places in york county, and the surrounding areas (Adams County and Gettysburg come to mind) that are haunted there. Perhaps the spookiest (that gave me major goosebumps) was Rhemeyers (sp?) Hollow near Glen Rock, which was the site of the now infamous Hex murders.

While I am interested in ghosts and checking out this place, I am most concerned about the lack of grammatical skill found in many of these postings. It seems to me that you should stop worrying about all the different sounds that go bump in the night and instead concentrate on picking up some english skills. Believe me, it will be beneficial to you as your life continues…and who knows…maybe in the after life as well. You know…with ouija boards and whatnot.

ive lived in a huanted house for a few years in westfield new york the whole story behind our neighbors was odd they were taking care of a very old health near death rich lady and one day she dies of a medicine overdose and they got everything they moved out quick real quick far away and they rented it out to us and every night out of the kitchen at about 1-2 you could see the face of a young girl that would peer out and spy ou of the corner of ur eye u could see her but when u turned or said something to her she would flee and disapeer my whole family was very freaked about the whole situation my room laid beyond the kitchen in the basement me being to motcho to admit i was very scared the last few days i stayed there when i went down to sleep at night i would hear her screaming and throwing things around my room i would pray and cry myself to sleep it was very disturbing and we eventually moved i do not wish to give the adress but situations like these are very disturbing and i do not recemend them be carefull

This story is really interesting a few friends and I are heading up to York to check out the 7 Gates of Hell tomorrow. I wanted to add though there is an extremely freaky abandoned hospital in Spring City, Pennsylvania. It’s called Pennhurst Mental Hospital (that may not be the official name), but it is said to be extremely haunted. It was a mental hospital for children with mental issues and children with mental diseases, that’s kind of a given. But my sister was there and said it was scary as hell. Look up some info on that I’d love to hear more official information about it before we make the trip up.
Also is the 7 Gate of Hell real. I mean I know it doesn’t go to hell…that’s just ridiculous. But the stories I hear are that an insane asylum stood at the end of an 8 mile road. Back many, many years ago a bunch of patients escaped and were killed and killed towns’ people in the surrounding woods. Is there any truth to this?

hey that is so interesting that there is a house on king street that is haunted. i have lived in york all my life and i never knew that. i know about reymyers hollow i live 5 minutes from there and it is so freaken scary down in that hollow. my boyfriend sometimes drives home through there and i hate it, it is so scary at night. all i want him to do is go faster so we get out of there and he just goes so slow to freak me out. when we were teenagers we use to drive through there at night and one time we saw some white round light things go across the road i remember i was so scared, we got the heck out of there and the seven gates of hell is located through the hollow, there are seven small bridges to drive over and that is apparenly the seven gates. i have done that before but that really was not scary it was the fact that we were in the hollow on old stone roads in the middle of the woods at night. and there is also a really freaky pond there that is so scary and a pet cememtary that you have to walk to that they say is also haunted. but i never walked there i am to much of a scaredy cat to do so, but i know those who did.

I’ve seen it myself and it doesn’t look AT ALL like the house in the movie, because its NOT the same house. The REAL amityville house isn’t by a lake, nor does it have the creepy windows like it does in the movie. It’s just a regular looking house in the suburbs around NYC

okay, niki, u apparently don’t live in york, because Raymires is about 40 minutes from york, and the seven gates of hell and toad road are 40 minutes in the opposite direction. I have lived in york all my life, and the only bridge is the one crossing the cadorous creek, and it is like 500 feet long. I’ve never heard this story, and I went to York High, I wouldn’t be suprised, I’ve seen some freaky stuff go on around York, and I have friends that tell me their house is haunted. 75% of these comments are either hardcore grammatically incorrect or false information.
