Oh, I found out I was right about the “opposite direction” thing. It seems that the 7 gates are just outside of York in Hellam, PA. So if it’s 40 minutes opposite the other….one of them is STILL by york.

Okay…so i thought this website seemed really cool at first. However, after reading everything it was worthless. The people using it have no idea how to stick to the subject. There was nothing said that had any importance. Finally, I like how there were all sorts of comments made about York City Schools. Well, I go to York High and am most likely smarter than everyone in here, I’m in the top 5% of smartest students in the whole state and I’m sure that’s more than any of you can say…but nice try

Also, thank you to the people who are using this site for the right reasons because people who are getting on here to say that people who believe in the paranormal are losers…are bigger losers than the people talking about ghosts.

What happened to that family of 4 was sooooo sad and whoever was living in that house after what happened to that family must of been really scared.I have a ghost in my house too,except its my pap and he doesn’t scare me,he sometimes follows me around my house,and he also sometimes talks to me.

Anyway, At the houes he lives in (theres like 3 familys in it because its split up)A long time ago there was a mean old lady who owned that house. And once she got so mad at her servernt, who is mentally ill, she made her hang herself in the basement on a pipe…

i have read all these stories, and i want you all to know that the Rehmeyers Hollow story IS real. i grew up in Glen Rock, and then spent 10 years in York too. i have been in the Hollow,many times,and got scared out of my mind, a few times.the story about the King Street murders is real too. a man murdered his whole family. it was in the 800 block, and happened about 12 years ago.i worked at the Turkey Hill store, almost 2 blocks from the house,and knew of the family.i also lived at 227 E Prospect St, in the city, and that house is definately haunted. my children and i had many things happen to us in that house. could someone please check out that house, and see what they think? its still there, and the basement is the worst place in the house.my dogs wouldnt even go in the basement.i now live in Fla., so i cant check it out for myself, or i would. by the way, York City schools are good schools. my three kids went there, and now, they are all three business owners, doing well. dont put York down unless you have been there and have a reason to. i would move back there in a minute, if it weren’t for my 8 Grandkids, who all live in Fla.

where is this house on King Street is it East or West King? The reason i asked is because i used to live in a haunted house that was on west king.

The house I lived in was at 314 East King St. Alot of weird things happened there like door knobs turning on their own and no one was in the next room. That was scary. I saw a shadow walked into the bathroom and thought at the time it was the kids but they were all downstairs. The closet had stairs that was closed off. So my ex boyfriend climbed the stairs and found a door and found a secret room at the top. It had all kind of old furniture and clothes there. I also felt ghosts touch me. The TV came on by itself a few times. I was scared at the time I lived there.

my name is David from Leola,Pa.I have encountered 3 aperations when I was a little boy.I was in the living room of my paren’ts house on rt 23 in Leola,Pa.I was playing with my mathboxs cars.When I was near the couch I looked over and seen three aperations laying under neat the couch looking at melike I wasnt post to be there when I seen them.The father was on right,little boy in middle,and the mother on left.The hole body was there exesept the feet.I couldn’t.See the feet.There color were light blue.When I hear people see white ones I don’t understand why I seen blue.Then we moved to New Holland ,PA and I seen the lady one again.I didn’t know that they can floow you.Well she was sitting on my dads chair and neeling a scarff like in the old days long point needle.Shelooked at me dead in the eye.I sream loud becase I was mad that she was in my das chair.Still to this day I never seen them again or exsberance them again.Dwh111 from Leola,PA

I drive on king st all the time. Never noticed a ‘haunted house’. Then again, there are always shootings/murders/muggings/rapes in this area. One of those fours things happens usually daily. Wonder which house this is.

The house is located at 314 E King St. I have lived there back in 1989 and it is real creepy. The doorknobs will turn and there wont be no one there on the other side. At night I felt cold hands touching my feet and I have seen ghosts there of the little boy. The attic that is blocked off leads to a set of stairs. I was to scared to go up there though. My friend seen red eyes from the one bedroom window when she spent the nite there. I am so glad that I moved from there.

yeah…is that the family that was brutally murdered by the INDIANS? or was that something else?
