I live on base and believe there are some haunting phenomena on this post. I experienced an incident the other day while walking in the sudivision where I live, well the story is this me and my kids were walking and we went down this one path and while we had walked we looked down this what seems to be a firebreak and I saw something in the distance that just stood there and when we got closer it disappeared and we went back a few more feet and kept walking and on our way back it got closer to where we were and just vanished. Their are woods in the back of my house and the kids said that something or someone had grabbed their leg and they had black handprints on their leg. Another incident in which I was not present where my brother in law who is visiting us was down at a friends house of ours and said they saw what was a bright flash of light at 2 in the morning in the woods like a cell phone light and the dogs were really upset he said. Can anyone explain this phenomena or supernatural beings that are here?

This particular story did not take place on Ft. Bragg. After doing some research I found that a baby orphanage was burned down by the woman who owned it and everyone died. It is said that you can hear the children crying. Check it out yourself http://theshadowlands.net/places/northcarolina.htm

My son currently lives on base at bragg he told me he kept seeing people who weren’t there, and he’s sure he has three ghosts in his house,I laughed at him….at first. After visiting, I think I’m nuts, I saw three?things? I can’t explain

i live @ 505 Irwin drive and there is sum freaky stuff that goes on in this neighborhood. i have heard childrean playing late at night and heard screams of children saying it hurts it hurts and where is she and all sorts of freaky ****. hey chris it is in the casablanca anzio acres neighborhood the street runs right beside the community center, and thats where most of the freaky stuff happens.i can see the community center from my house and sometimes late at night its really weired around here!!!!!! u should come and see some time for yourself!

evertthing makes perfect sense. the running up the stairs. the back door sounding like its open. shadows barely tall enough to peer out the window. theres a VERY old playground that sits at the bottom of a hill behind my house. even before i knew about it gave me the chills just looking out my back window. i do have to say that whoever remains in this house has been very good to me as far as not scaring the day lights out of me.
