Real Haunted Houses

Real Haunted House

Jane Chin Hospital

Webb City, Missouri

During the Halloween season, haunted houses are held in this abandoned hospital. The hospital, however, appears to be truly haunted. It is said that strange noises may be heard coming from the second floor. One many reported having his dog with him. The dog got to the landing between the first and second floor and began whining and barking hysterically. Others have reported the sound of a rolling gurney on the second floor—the former surgery road.

I believe the hospital where the exorcism was held on the little boy is in St. Louis @ St. Lukes Hospital. My grandmother was there for a lil while and in the lobby there is information on the actual exorcism. Pretty interesting.

im from webb city and one day in 1993 while skipping school at my friends house near jane chinn on par ave. My friend keefer and i were walikng up the alley on the southside there was a door cracked open and we entered the hosp. i remember turning left and going to the end of the hall and going up to the 2nd story and walked all the way to the east to the 3rd floor stairs where we opened a door and it was dark. we got scared and turned around going back the same way we came in. keefer never leaving my side and no spookhouses having been held for a yr or two we get to the end of the hallway and written in RED WET HALLOWEEN PAINT on wall was written DUSTY. i touched the still wet paint with my fingers. my buddy keefer saw this too and its no lie. duck

I had been in Jane Chin several times in my late teens. Each time I was there, I encountered an dark presence. I have been in the old surgery room, which is now unaccessable. I have also been in the back storage room in the basement. This too is not a place for the weak to be. What I have witnessed in that building, I hope no one else encounters!

I was born in Webb City in 1946. I had to have been born at Jane Chinn, since I am pretty sure it is/was the only hospital in Webb City. I did a regression years ago back to my birth. Does anyone remember if there was a statue of Mary on one or any of the hospital floors in that hospital? I would appreciate knowing.
