Well… wat could i say ..yeah people do talk about that but i been here for a year and a half…haven’t seen anything.. but i could tell you that yes it is very depressing for no reason at all.. when you leave center its so much better but once returing you back to sad emotions….everyone i know living here is depressing . . There has been a lot of drinking drug usage have increased majorly…its crazy…….

Anyone that hung out with me from aug. 2010- nov 2011. knows that i have about 00:57 of footage in the old independent dorm, which is now the current HOT lab (Health Occupation Trade). I just went ACT (the closest building just 100 feet south of the independent dorm/ new HOT lab. The footage consists of me being down the hall, cleaning up recording us messing around while cleaning. everyone slowly left one at a time, and then i was soon alone still recording stupid and random nothings. then i heard a very slight and vague knocks from every dorm door near and far i went to one and kept the camera of my iPod on it and it was staring at the doorknob, soon it was as if someone from the inside tried to pull the door open from the inside with out turning the knob, therefore it didn’t open. but damn it was freaky, next thing i knew i was headed outta there if felt like i was running, but i with my iPod still recording while i was heading out of there. it seemed i was moving real slow. it was crazy. im not afraid of much but when there is an amount of activity around me that’s completely unpredictable to what can happen to me? i can get very curious and superstitious. but yeah, good times..or lack thereof

I was at Job Corps from ’99 to ’01. I was in what was called back them “B”, and “W” dorms. Job Corps is haunted and the RA’s wont say anything about anything there. I remember when I first started there, their was a skull that kept appearing on one of the dorm rooms and they would repaint and repaint and it would keep coming back. I would hear footsteps running up and down the halls and crying and laughing. I remember that I was really depressed all the time and before I went there I was not a drinker at all but when I was there I drank all the time and when I left I didnt drink anymore. I asked one of the security guards “RoboCop” if he knew anything and he was such a jerk he called my RA and they took away my privledges for a week. I’m searching for some more info about the orphanage. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Reno7911@aol.com… Thanks

i am a student here at the moment for AJCC and in the dorm Male New Vision right next to independent hall its pretty freaky late at night you can hear the dorn handle flick and you look out side and hear no one why would it be moving like that around 3am? freaky stuff im glad i was moved into a different dorm

I went to AJCC 08-09 and I agree with the depression thing. I’d seen people come in so optimistic and end up wrapped in the drugs and angry all the time. It ruined quite a few people. Just always a depressing feeling no matter where you were. I think I saw my boyfriend’s comment from 2 years ago (funny I could spot it) and he said the same. I do remember in CPP my room had some weird things. Like noises from the lockers.. and my roommate thought she had been talking to me one night, but I was asleep. Or seeing someone sleeping in one of the beds when other roommates of ours was gone. The old independent dorms just put off an eerie feeling, but it could be from stories everyone hears.

I ATTENDED AJCC FROM 1996-1998. I LIVED IN BOTH WHAT WAS THEN “Q AND R” AND THE HONOR DORM AKA “B DORM”. I SAW THINGS THAT MAKE IT KNOWN THAT IT TRULY IS A HAUNTED PLACE. ONE OF THE FIRST THINGS WAS A CHILD’S BALL BOUNCING IN THE BACKGROUND WHEN I LOOKED IN THE MIRROR TO COMB MY HAIR. YOU COULD ALSO HERE CHILDREN PLAYING IN THE COURTYARD. I ALSO WENT TO TAKE A SHOWER ONE EVENING AT THE SAME TIME AS MY ROOMATE. I CAME BACK AND SAW THAT THERE WAS SOMEONE IN HER BED COVERED UP. ASSUMING IT WAS HER I FINISHED GETTING READY FOR BED AND TURNED OFF THE LIGHT, CLIMBING INTO BED MYSELF. SOON THE DOOR OPENED AND MY ROOMATE WALKED IN, ASKING WHY I HAD TURNED OFF THE LIGHT ON HER. ANOTHER TIME I WAS LAYING THERE CRYING LATE AT NIGHT AND SOMETHING SAT DOWN BESIDE ME AND LAYED A HAND ON MY LEG TO COMFORT ME. I COULD SEE THE CLEAR IMPRESSION OF SOMEONE IN THE BLANKETS. THESE ARE JUST A FEW INSTANCES.

i went to job corps (06-08) & heard all the stories about being haunted. i lived in the Inspiration dorm at first and they wanted to moved me to the dorms in front and i refused because of the hauntings only to be completly freaked out that harmony was just as haunted. you could hear people running up and down the hall even after everyone was asleep and doors slamming. my roommate was taking a shower and when i came back into the room she had continued talking to as if i had been there the whole time and when i asked her what she was talking about she looked at me like i was crazy. she said she couldve sworn i had been there the whole time and told me everything she thought i had said and i told her she was crazy that i had just came back from being on a daily. i was so glad i finally D.O.T’d its horrible being there, you really cant help but start sinking into a depression when your there

While I was in attendance at the Clearfield Job Corps Center (CJCC), in Clearfield Utah. I witnessed some of the oddest things I have either felt or seen and yes heard, as well. I was there from March of 2001 to March 2004. Yes I was a full completer.
Some quick history for you, about this particular Job Corps Center. During World War 2, it served as an Army/Air Force base. It has many buildings, that have since then been bought and sold to many busineeses that have nothing to do with the military. There are hundreds of underground tunnels. The remaining buildings that have nothing in them are all sealed up and there is no way to get into them. The CJCC campus only makes up a 3 block radius of the entire old base. There where some deaths that where there, during it’s time as a military base. But since CJCC had it’s humble beginnings in 1967. There have been many deaths there. During my time there, they had 3 male students die, on campus. I am not sure what has happened since I graduated, but while I was there I got experience first hand what had been rumored.
I was first put into R dorm. During the first month I was in this dorm. I would see, our “closets” A.K.A. our very large blue lockers, held shut by a pad lock, would for no reason just open, after they where locked and closed for the night…or during class hours. We, those of us whom could not sleep, would hear the sounds of a bouncing rubber ball up and down the hall all night long. Occasionally you would hear a little girl laughing. After only one month in that dorm I was moved to G dorm, where I spent the remaining of my time there, in that dorm until we moved into the new dorms. Durning my time spent in G Dorm, I heard whisperings by my head, at night. In the day room, it was filled with severe hot and cold spots. Our tv room, the lights and tv would come on and turn off by themselves, all hours of the day and night. When I made it to Honor status, we had full and real closets, not lockers. Those closet doors would open, swing and slam shut on their own. Every night I was in those Honor Dorms, I would have something heavy sit on the foot of the bed. We would hear the sound of marching, in the hall, at night. We would see, what looked like a pair of red dots, like a pair of eyes in the day room and at the end of the hall by the fire exscape.
In the Health Occupations class rooms, you would have the sounds of whisperings and muffled sobbings. In the UAW buildings, after classes and dinner was long and gone, you would hear a load and heavy crashing. It would also have the sounds of several engines being started and rev., but no one was never in there after six pm….ever. It was part of the rules.
If any of you out there have any other stories, please bring them forth. I would like to read them. I would, if you can get the permission to do so, love to join you if you can ever get in and do an investication… best time to do so is, durning their summer or winter vacations.
