I worked at this resturant over the summer as a hobo. I went downstairs to get some ingrediants for some soup and heard a bump inside the storeroom. I opened it and found an apple and an orange on the ground. I was so freaked out that i turned around and ran into a metal pole. The apple and the orange rolled around me and i slipped on them. I quit the job the next day because of a broken wrist and a black eye.

I used to live in SI and once spent the night at the mansion before it was supposed to be converted to a restaurant. A friend of mine was living there with his wife as a sort of caretaker. The place was a mess, with the large mirror on the first floor smashed by vandals.
He invited two of my co-workers to live there with them. They had a pretty neat setup, with cable internet hooked up, with all 3 computers near each other in the same room. They hooked up another PC so that I could join them in a round of Starcraft. Before bedtime that night, someone had mentioned that the place was haunted, and pointed me toward a stairway leading to the attic, or the next floor up, whatever it was. I graciously declined, having seen way too many horror movies in my time. This was early 2000’s, so I don’t remember if I heard any strange noises, but that could be because I didn’t want to hear any noises.
The only thing eerie I can remember is the dark stairway to the next floor up, one that I refused to climb. Call me chicken, but I don’t recall any of my companions volunteering to escort me up the stairs either.
The 3 guys initials that were there that night are JY, AA, and HMB. If you guys happen to see this post, please respond. Would be good to hear from you guys.

I am an associate producer with a new documentary television series considering doing an episode on the Kreischer Mansion. We’re looking for anyone who has ever personally witnessed or knows someone who has witnessed strange activity connected with the mansion. We’re most interested in speaking with those who actually lived or worked there and had some frightening experiences there (former owners, employees, contractors). We are also interested in any stories involving animals. The unique spin of this series is that animals are also affected by paranormal activity and can even see/hear things before their human owners. I don’t know if there are any stories of living animals acting strange in Kreischer, but if we can find one it could be on TV!

the kreisher house isnt haunted and i know because my uncle john greenfield built this house for my aunt helen greenfield. after he died she lived their alone for many years with her god dogs.my great great grandfather frank jelicks would help her maintain the propertie.after she died it set empty until the new owner tried to make it a resturont.and now all u people think its haunted but its not.mathew jelicks the great great nephew of uncle johnny and aunt helen.

I am starting a screenplay about the Kreischer family, the surviving mansion that’s reputadly haunted, B.Kresicher and Son Brickworks, the fire that killed his son and daughter in law and her affair with Dr. Washington of Tottenville, the Italian and Hungarian workers at the brickworks and the labor unrest there. All information about the fire that burned the brickworks down, and generally any information about the topics.

We went out there about 4 months ago, my friend threw a beer can up towards the porch, we thought we heard front door open, so we ran… when we got to the car, we saw that a beer can had been smashed – against the hood of the car, it left a deep scratch/dent – and left on the roof of the car!!
