Gary, Indiana

After drowning her two children in the Calumet River, this woman has been grieving. She begs for a ride to the site of her children’s death and upon arrival, she vanishes. and their is puddles u can hear her . like my grandparents, they had family over at their house
they where in the last room in the house because that’s the game room it was like about 5:00pm
and it stoped raining for a second everybody was quiet and they heard la llorona saying ay mis hijos. i know this story pretty well because i lived in that ranch for about 2 months.it’s really true

My grandfather past away about 1 1/2 ago and he told my mom that when he was living in Nayarit, Mexico he had expirienced acouple of huntings of his own. He was a man that loved to drink alot and one day when he was walkin home from a cantina (bar) he saw a black dog following him, he looked in his eyes and saw that they were red he said that the dog had attaced him so when he got home my grandmother asked him what was wrong and he told her what had happend. my mom still remembers that day she says that he was coverd in blood and scraches all over and that he sobered up real fast. My mom also remembers that when she was a kid growing up in Mexico she and my oldest aunt would accompany each other to the bathroom that was out side their house and that they would hear horse carrages and that they would go see what it was and that nothing was there.

I had a an expirience when i was like a year old. I still remember even thought my brothers say i could not remember cause i was only 1 but i still do. I was born in LA, Cali and my family had owned a house befor i was born i really don’t remember quite much but i think they had bout another house near East LA and when we moved in i remember (and still dream) that every night there was a shadow of an old lady with her hair up in a bun, she always used to point at me and tell me to go to her but with her finger, every night i would go but never really open the curtains, i say that because i slept in a room with my mom and dad and my crib was close to there bed so i would climb out and go to the window which was beside their bed, so that night all i remember was climbing out of the bed and going to the window and opening the curtains and i felt her scrach me on my left hand my om says that the next day she took me to a catholic church and the prist prayed a little and gave her a jar full of holy water and told her to spray all over the house i still tell that story and she says that every thing i say is true that i really did tell her that when i was a little kid i can’t believe it myself at time but it is true. she also said that there was a picture of the old lady and her 3 sons and her husband hung on the wall in the living room and that every time she would take down the picture that the picture would be back on the wall the next time she past by…..yeah i know it’s a little freaky and unbleivable that i still remember but it’s true that happend no lie thats my word. =}

In Vieques Puerto Rico there is a true story about a women that killed her kids on a road side. My Cousin saw her one nigth coming back from the beach. The story is that back in the day this women had 3 kids, her husband leaves her for another women so she goes and looks for him taking her 3 kids with her, and on that road side there isnt no light post, only in the conors, there isnt no houses there either just a dark road, she was trying to get to the beach area which was a spot to hang out till to this day its the place to be at night, the lady he left her for leaved in that area, anyway in the dark road she kills her 3 children just to get back at her husband then she killed herself and every other night she appears to men driving alone, she asks for a ride, or sometimes she said that she needs help looking for her kids, and if u keep on going she appears in the back sit in your car, she tell u not to look back if u look back she looks all ugly blood on her then disappears leaving you crazy, there have been 3 teens that went crazy cuz they said that they saw her. My cousin said that he pulled over to help the lady, when he got out she asked him to help her look for her kids not thinking he said yea, she walked in where the tree’s was, my cousin said he didnt go in then he realized where he was then drove off like a bat out of hell. Sometimes she will not appear you just hear crying as you pass the area with the music off where she killed them. I heard it one night it was me and my whole family (U kno when people fit in to a pick up truck lol) as we drove by all you hear is crying my aunt got scared and told my grandpa to speed up lol

Hey this story is just a rip off of the pilot supernatural episode (very cool show). I very much doubt its true. Here in england we stopped believing in life after death and god in the 1980′s. We now only worship Nintendo and tomato ketchup.

I’ve heard another variation of this story, only this one takes place somewhere in Mexico/Southwestern US, and doesn’t involve dead children (although I think that’s part of the actual legend) In this variation I read, she appeared as a beautiful young woman who hitched a ride with a man travelling late at night and she turned into a skeletal demon. But I think they’re basically the same story, only with the emphasis on two different aspects of the legend
