Anyone interested in the paranormal, I am co founder of a local group in Fayetteville, North Carolina called NAM GHOST HUNTING SOCIETY. My partner and I are looking for some new members willing to go on investigations. We have already partially investigated the Vander Light haunting and are currently working on a new investigation at the Clarion Prince Charles Hotel. We still have to go back to with our equipment to Vander, but we did catch pictures of several orbs and ectoplasm. Our contact info is on our web site. http://www.namghs.com.
Thanks and hope to hear from you soon!!

So you put your keys on the car. Why in the hell would you do that anyway!? I mean, if they’re gone how are you going to get home, or what ever else you have to do. It is just plain stupid!

I actually lived a mile below the damn on Lake Tahoma Rd. The legend was if you tape a rose to the bumper of your car and honk the horn, when you get out the rose would be taken off of your bumper. It didnt work and the warden who watches the property was close by and they will arrest you if they catch you on the dam.

doesnt sound that “scary” i have turned the lights off and ran the water a billion times to find nothing of the legend bloody mary. so, taking a coupld steps around a car and losing your keys sounds like something that wouldnt really frigten me?! besides this has nothing to do with prom or anything of the sort. Where are the scary hauntings that happen in the movies?

alright so my mom has been telling me this story since i was a kid, i grew up like 20min from lake tahoma and the story that i was told goes a little differently bc it did interest me more than this one, supposedly the girl found out she was pregnant a few nights b4 prom and then decided to tell her boyfriend about the pregnancy, he wasnt thrilled obviously, so on prom night he took her to the dam he told her it would be romantic place for them, back then supposedly u could walk out and look over the dam, so he took her to the middle where he had a rose waiting for her, as she reached for the rose he pushed her into the dam… supposedly ur supposed to go to the middle of the dam, dont think it has to be prom nite, take a rose and she will appear

This is not what has been taught locally about this legend.
To my understanding it was something about a girl and her date and the prom yes, but it involved placing a rose on the hood of the car and honking the horn. Keep to the facts and don’t post nonsense even if the subject is a mystery. Soemone has even now posted the tale incorrectly on wiki. Jerks…
