Real Haunted Houses

Real Haunted House

Leave Me Alone!

Muncie, Indiana

There is a historical building where a women, who was pregnant, lived with her husband. Her husband was abusive and beat her hard and often. One day she stood in the middle of the drive and slit one wrist. Before she died she said “Jeff, leave me alone!” Right down the road is a tree that hangs over the road and once in a while you’ll see her and her little baby happy on the limb.

B-dog,

Nobody asked you for your lame response. You exute more intelligence when you are in the ‘idle’ mode.

What a total and complete farse. Its a made up story.
No truth to the suicide or the haunting.

You want us to believe she comitted suicide (while pregnant) then came back as a happy ghost?

This story sounds like a crock– what does the phrase “leave me alone” have to do with the haunting that is supposed to go on?

And what is this “happy on the limb”? Are they happy hanging? Are they sitting on the limb, happy to be dead?

And another is on 1000n and it’s called cry baby bridge and if you go their at midnight you will here a baby cry. And if you go on friday 13 on full moon you’ll here the baby and blood will splater from up above.

This story seems highly made up. Unless the spook has been crossed over she wouldn’t be happily sitting on a limb just chilling. Anyways, If someone can not tell you where something is then it can’t be proven. At any rate there are a couple of really awesome places in Anderson and around the area in Mad county. I started a page on myspace dedicated to Madcountyspooks. Im going to put some pictures up and the storys to go along with them when i get time.

I’ve read the story. I’ve lived in indian all my life. I’m less than 30 minutes away from muncie, my mom ran muncie growing up and we know several people over there. I’ve never heard this tale. But it fits right in with the rest of the stories from around these parts. Take ridgville wich is said to be built in the shape of a pentagram. Or the house in the woods near muncie, that if you go to it late at night every light in the house will come on. And the walls run red with blood. I know that house… can’t rember how to get there though. I had a cousion that lived near it growing up, the story that is told is that several murders took place in that house. I’ve seen it in the light and no thiers nothing hooked up that can cause that, and have also been there at night. Then theres the graveyard neer ridgville that is haunted and supposable in the middle of this graveyard is a creek with a bridge over it. The story goes that years ago a man murdered his wife and unborn child by pushing them off the bridge and drowning them. They say that if you go to the bridge at night sometimes you’ll see the woman, and that in the creek where she died is her wedding ring, but that if a man tries to retreave the ring something grabbs him and drowns him. I’ve heard every story around here. Ghost hauntings is a passion of mine, and i’m always interested in finding real ones. However to this date there is only two that I have been able to veriffy. And one of them I never ever speak of.
