one time a ghost farted on me smelled like flowers

I dot particulraly belive that the house is a “portal to another relm” but i do belive that the house has some odd things going on. I might have to take a look myself.

I live in the Rockrimmon area and we’ve had many strange things happen at our home. At night I can hear things happening in the bathroom next to my bedroom (cabinets opening, toilet flushing..but none of it is happening once you go in there). I have heard noises like my husband putting on his belt in the bedroom at night but when I turn on the light he’s not there. Also right after we moved in in 10/06 we had almost every electrical appliance break down (the water heater, furnace, washer and dryer). They had all been inspected prior to us moving in. My computer is acting strange as I’m typing this now. I’m CONVINCED this place in haunted!! I moved here from Denver and have seen many strange occurances there as well. If anyone else knows of Rockrimmon hauntings please let me know

Yes the St. Fransis hospital is haunted, go on the cancer floor at night when the lights dim and you will understand what I mean.

The Lee Family home is in Black Forest at 8325 Swan Road, very very creepy house, be careful and the people are kind of mean, so, watch out, because if a ghost doesnt get you, the Lee’s might

I live a about a mile away from the Lee house and run by it everyday on my morning job! I’ll post some pics if I ever see anything!

I live about miles from the Lee place. That’s unfortunate that they are rumored to be ‘mean,’ but in all consideration, it is their home. Would you like it if ghost hunters were pounding down your door all the time or if strangers were pulling up into your drive at night? Black Forest IS out in the country, and is therefore very quiet. I’m quite sure they can hear when people pull up into their driveway, and if they’re aren’t home, their neighbours will let them know. People out in the country take care of each other, and you can bet they would be easily riled by ghost hunters. If you want to go out there, ASK. Call them up. Use a phone book to get their number. Just because ghost hunting doesn’t pay certainly doesn’t mean you have to act like a kid, sneaking on property that doesn’t belong to you just to get a cool shot. If it’s abandoned property, that’s your own risk to get caught and fined. But crying out loud, have some respect for people like the Lees. I’m not sure when the last investigation was, but it was probably a LOT more professional than pulling up into their drive, getting freaked out and speeding away. Please don’t ruin this for the professionals. It’s hard enough to get respect in this field, and trespassing makes it worse.

I have been investigated the lee family home for quite some time now, and im not really sure if the log 2 story house was moved or what. But I can guarantee that the Lee’s do not live in Black Forest anymore. I do not know where you get you info but you must be worng, or im just at he worng address. I’ve been on the propert at the intersection between Swan and Pinery and i don’t think that this is the property. So can some one help me out and tell me where the property is.

My friend and I both went to the 8345 Swan Road during the day and at night. The house basically just looks like a new log home, and there is no address on the house. There seemed to be nothing there, as far as being scared or feeling anything!!! Was this the wrong address?

I’ve lived near the Lee’s house for some time now. It’s not an old house, just in an old area. I live in Black Forest and know that people in the forest watch out for each other. Haven’t you people ever heard of privacy and don’t you know that trespassing is a crime? How would you like to feel like people are stalking you driving up into your driveway at all hours of the night?
And as for St Francis hospital – that is a working hospital with real life sick people. You can’t go sneaking around in records rooms where people’s PRIVATE MEDICAL FILES are kept. If you’re sneaking around in there you deserve to be arrested for trespassing.

Okay guys, I know it’s all in fun and stuff, but the Lee’s house IS a private residence. I live in Black Forest and it’s true that forest people watch out for each other. Imagine how you’d feel, people driving up your driveway at all hours of the night especially in an out of the way secluded area. It’s not an old house, just an old area. If it’s ghost hunting you want, try Manitou Springs or Estes Park and the Stanley Hotel. Private property means just that – private. Trespassing is a crime.

Ok, so you want to find ghosts in the springs. Don’t go bugging the Lee’s or the hospital. There are tons of other haunted locations throught Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. Try Sand Creek, Gold Camp Road, Helen Hunt Falls, Mulitiple areas of both Manitou and Black Forrest (unpopulated areas especially). Just remeber that CS in part of the area from the sand creek massacre. Also parts of CS and Manitou were places of ceremonial and spiritual significance to Native Americans. Just do a little more research and you’ll find all kinds of hauntings and paranormal all over Colorado.

I used to live in a house on El Sereno, 3 to be exact, when I was a child. It is in Ivywild. I don’t know what is going on there, but we used to have ghosts (full body apparitions) in our room at night. We used to see them when we were wide awake, my older sister and I. I also used to see what I now know are orbs floating all over in the house at night. My parents never saw them, but I still remember it like it was yesterday, and it has been 34 years. When we moved into our next home, not anywhere close to that neighborhood, I never saw anything there and finally slept well for the first time in years. Over the years, I have spoken with people who are a little more knowledgable about spirits, and they have told me that with so many, it must be a portal of some sort. I have thought ever since, that the hill in Ivywild that El Sereno is an area of spiritualness. People live in that house, but I feel if you wanted to go ghost hunting, you might try that immediate neighborhood.

The exact location of the Sand Creek Massacre has been lost,but historians have placed it in either Kiowa or Prowers counties, The possible sight is now a federally protected land mark.
The starting point of The Sandy Creek is NORTH OF Peyton,meetin other creeks west of Limon,becoming the Big Sandy Creek.So probably that sand creek that is in c. springs would not very fun,I think the real name is Chico Creek if my map is right

This is gonna seem really odd but it never really clicked, because I thought my best friends was just trying to pull my leg. But I remember him telling me about the Sand Creek Massacre and how the barn and the little shack on the property he was living on were haunted by the people of the Sand Creek Massacre, because it was part of where it had occurred. For anyone who knows the highlands ranch/castle rock area and where the castle pines area and gold course are, there’s that road, at least when I lived there, was known as Daniels Park Rd. It’s the property across from the golf course that has the huge house, barn, gated entrance and wooden shack towards the front of the property. The barn is known as Castle Cliff Farm if you decide to look it up online.

to protect a certain person I will not disclose their name.. but this person use to work at the penrose hospital and invited friends and I to explore the hospital knowing we were interested in the tales of the hospital. We began down stairs where they still have the old tuberculosis tracks and chambers so all together creepy but you feel very cold spots and hear slight moans of pain while walking down these chambers we were also invited into the morgue where to be honest I felt safer than other parts of the hospital. There is a small library there as well that is well interesting to say the least you can feel the presence of an elderly man who poeple say spent mch of his time there, he folows you through the bookcases following you but just observing there are also reports of a younger women in white who floats through there every once in a while. But the creepiest part was the old fifth floor which use to be the phsych ward… it is mostly old beds up there and storage units now but you can often here demented laughter and mumbling from old patients.. the phones ring up there on there own when there is no longer a connection to the lines on that floor and you are followed by old patients who flip beds and hold you in the rooms it gives you the chills.
