Real Haunted House

Left in the Hallway

Alhambra, California

This house is said to have been built around the turn of the century by an elderly man with many children. When the man died in the 1940′s of old age, he left his spirit behind in the home. The apparition drags people out of their beds during the night, leaving them in the hallway. The man also has an affinity for doors-every door in the house that is left open is always found closed again.

Dearest People,

Who posted that haunted house story?
And where is it even located?
I want to visit it. And check it out. Perhaps solve a mystery if there’s one that needs to be solved.
If anyone has the address or any other local “mystery” tips then please hit me up at TheHumbleSlayer@aol.com

Thankx! :-D

Dearest Nicole R.,

Is the story you are telling about the apartment on Elgin the same story that is posted? or is it different?

I’m gonna flesh out all of these mysteries, with or without a talking dog.
And i’m starting right here in Alhambra.

the house in the story is suppose to be on the corner of elgin and whatever the hall is on. start with finding the address for the American Legion hall in Alhambra, Elgin is about half a block away you’ll see the apartment building. the house in the story is suppose to be across the street and old victorian-like looking house

but no The Lonely Slayer its not the same house, good luck to u and your talking dog. tell thelma and shaggy hello…lol

Dearest Nicole,

I checked out Elgin St.
I found the apartments where your friend lives, they are the ones right next to that building and parking lot, yes?

If so, then why in your story did u say you guys went through the “back door”? Apt 3 is on the second story. There is no back entrance. Did i locate the wrong apartments? In your story you say that your friend “saw a lot of things there”. Do u mean she saw strange things in her own apartment or the house in question?

Speaking of the house in question, i believe it is the house right on th corner, yes? It’s blue?

Well, hopefully you’ll get back to me.

You can all check out my link SPOOKYNESS INVESTIGATIONS, if u wish. :-)

OMG! That is so scary! My friends house is haunted.

She read it on the internet; 4 people died in her house. The man was a farmer he died from a pitch fork that he fell on in a stack of hay. His spirit came back and killed his oldest son for he was the one that placed the pitch fork in the haystack. The son was jealous that he was the one who had been killed so he killed his younger brother by poisoning his drink. Later the wife was all alone and thought about killing herself but never did. Her wife new she wanted to and then killed he by pushing her off the loft. Now-a-days you hear footsteps during the night and when it is quiet, music plays by itslef, shadows are seen on the wall and they stare at you if you are up alone at night from down the hall and sometimes if you step in certain places you can feel a sharp break on your foot as if a pitch fork stabbed you, It also at times leaves a mark.

The building directly across the street used to be a sbc building I think, not too sure.

by the direction your giving me it sound like it, but her apartment was a 2 story, first floor was the living room, kitchen and dinning room. the second floor had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen had a small back door, her stairs were inside.

the original story isn’t mine just something I heard before I didn’t write it but from what I heard it is the house across the street. I don’t think she’s (my friend) ever been in the blue house.

Everything that happened to her happened in her apartment.

Dearest Nicole,

So this “Old man” you saw was in your friends house?
Not at the house in question?

The house is located on the corner of Stoneman and Elgin. The house actualy sits next door to the parking garage for the movie theater on Garfield.

I grew up in Alhambra, I have never heard of that house but know the location well. I remember getting out of school (AHS) and entering the old homes that were deserted off bay state and commonwealth with friends. It was creepy at night knowing that the neighborhood that surrounded me at night was dead. all that area is now the mervyns lot. dang….what memories.
