Real Haunted House

Lynch House

Lawrence, Kansas

During Quantrill’s Raid of the city, a young girl was raped and killed in the basement of this house. Today doors open and close and lights turn on and off. Some have even by slapped and tickled by unseen phantoms, while still others have seen ghosts walking through the hallways.

does anyone remember an old farm house across the highway from k-mart? I used to live there in the 70′s. this house was was approx 125 yrs old in ’75 and it was haunted. My family had many experiences while living there. I heard it no longer is standing but still I would like to know if anyone remembers it or any stories connected with this house.

Does anyone know of some hauntings in Lawrence that are for real? I am kind of getting into this and I am skeptical but would like to talk with or even go with someone who Ghoast Hunts and get my own impression.

1301 Kentucky is haunted. When I lived there in the 80′s, we heard footsteps and ball bouncing when no one was there on more than one occasion.

And I found out how my mom was a little girl she would be tickled every night by someone she can’t see so one night she was being tickled twice as much so she screams stop and starts crying because she is being tickled to much and she said she couldn’t breathe so she grabs the thing by the hand and looks at the thing and she sees a black figure and then passes out and so this happened to me as a kid every night and it’s starting to happen now so i don’t go to sleep without a knife and a bat

i am a fifteen year old phsycic who helps police men in missing persons cases . In 2008 there was a young boy around that area that went missing i had a premonition that he was in that house with a family friend i then had to go to the house . There i came across the saddest spirit i have ever met.She told me her brother was a traitor and that she was raped and killed by a friend of his. she also told me to tell her no relatives she was ok that it would set her free that little girl haunts my dreams because at that age i looked JUST LIKE HER!

The claim of a girl being raped and killed during Quantrells raid is a bunch of ****! Take yourself to Watkins Museum and read the list of persons killed during the raid and you find that no women or children were killed during the raid. Further more I spent my entire life in Lawrence Kansas and have heard all of the ghost stories and urban legends. I’ve been to stull cemetary and spent many a night in the eldirdge house. I have had unexplained experiences in both. If any private residence is haunted in lawrence related to quatrells raid it would be the miller house.
