About 4 years ago I was asleep in bed, and I woke up with a woman (who looked like ma mother) walk past me. It was kinda blurry..maybe jus because I had jus woken up. And I said ma mothers name. And when she didnt answer I got out of ma bed. And she was no where. I looked outside to see if she had walked out the house, and she wasnt there. I looked at the clock and ma mom had been gone for about an hour by then, to go to work. I was scared but I jus went in the living room and ate ma breakfast.
Well Ill say about 2 years later I moved out and moved back in with ma mother, and ma grandmother was living there, and she had moved into ma room while I was gone. I was telling her this story about ma room (thinking I could scare her out of ma old room to get it back haha) and while I was telling her this..she turned a pale color, and I asked what was wrong, and she had said she seen the same woman. I had seen the woman walk past the closet, exacly where ma grandmother had seen her. She said the woman looked like mom.
Ma mother was also at the end of the hallway, and at the other end was the bathroom, the door was open, and there was a mirror on the wall..so you can stand at the end of the hall and see yourself in the mirror. Well ma mother was at the end of the hall so jus happened to glance in the mirror and saw a man standing behind her, she looked behind her and there was no one, and then the looked back into the mirror was he as still there, so needless to say she ran outside lol. But thats all the ghost experiences ive had. But I would love to have more.

i love ghost stuff but i work in salem and have never heard anything abotu any building or home on main st being haunted or have ever heard that story so im not sure about this one

Hey, I do belive in ghosts i lived in a house for my junior and senior year of high school in Lynchburg, Va.And i had the basement as my room i would always feel like something was watching me and i used to have these all to real day dreams of a woman lookin into my face not just.Not staring at me but IDK looking into me… then i would come out of these day dreams scared and im not a guy who gets scared easily.
But then one night i was watching Spiderman 2 i remeber it like it was yesterday. I was sitting there dipping cause my parents would have killed me if they would have seen it. And then there was this figure jus floating across my room and fast and not extremly slow .It got to the door in the middle of my room turned around looked INTO me and went in the room. My mom said she felt weird and came down stairs seconds after and she says i didnt talk i was just staring at the door and white as a sheet so yes i do belive in ghosts. I never slept in my room downstairs after that i would jus go down there to dip and then up to my brothers room to sleep. Thank god he was in the marines and i had somewhere els to sleep.

I’ve lived in salem va all my life. My grandmother lives on Elm St which is right off of Union and Main St. I believe I remember this house. That part of Salem is considered the historic district, just across the street in the West Salem area are some of the oldest houses in the area. A girl I know moved into a house on main st near the old Lake Spring Park (duck pond at burger king now) and her parents were restoring the house. There are secret passageways that you can get to through closets that were used at one point to hide runaway slaves. They always talked about their home being haunted but I was always a skeptic. I believe in ghosts but I also believe in psychological illness that causes people to see things and hear things that aren’t there. I’d rather go at the ghost hunting with a scientific theory and not have a psychic roaming around a house saying they “feel” spirits around them. Its just not proof enough for me to have someone say they see something yet there is no hard core evidence. The story was interesting, I never see much about Salem on the internet unless it has to do with Roanoke College or SHS football.

OK after reading that story im thinking back to what I would have done if I was a kid. Not saying it isn’t true, but out of the youngsters I know both growing up and present (including myself) would not be calm drinking a glass of chocolate milk after seeing a woman you can see through. That “see-through lady” would have had that glass of milk, the house and everything in it all to herself, cause i would have been runnin so fast my feet would b kickin my own a$$.

right this story is bs. my main point is for Monica. human eyesight sees only a small range of light. if you notice, everything in nature is spherical, balanced. try fresh air, friends and laughs. see what happens. good things seem to bring good, bad seems to bring bad things.
