we had ablast at the castle the ghost were slow to respond but we got a male spirit in the basement under the hall by that coal shootor tunnel or what ever that might be. and up in the attic we finally got a hold of the little girl ghost (chawannah). she sed you wanted a stuffed dog toy so we bought one and left it in the attic so enyons going there and gets axcess to the attic pleas leave the 2 dogs foe her thank you. we did have a blast it was fun and NOT SCARRY.

I am a paranormal investigator and have heard the stories of haunts as well as the arguments against it. I would like to bring my electronic gear and night vision cameras in and stay a night or two to find out for sure. I would not want to just be bound to one room. I would want to wander through the building with a team of 3 other people and see if we get anything in the areas that have had reports of sightings or sounds. That is truly the only way to prove or disprove if anything paranormal is present. We would not bother any guests that are staying there. We would only conduct our investigation in rooms that are unoccupied and common areas including the grounds outside. If this would be possible to do, please let me know.

no body sed that this ghost girl belonged to the family. the child just sed what she saw and every body else just speculates, she might be a child that burned in the hospital fire next door back in the 30′s. also i dont remember you speaking with my child. and instead of be negative about a childs word you should consentrate on the story.

BTW, the ghost named “Chawana” comes from a little girl who may or may not have seen a ghost. I spoke with the little girl and she DOES NOT remember the experience. The little girl gets a lot of attention for being on the Travel Channel episode about Manresa. Child’s imagination?…Perhaps. Historical evidence of a girl named “Chawana” being associated with Manresa?…No.

My crew and I are not quick to label a venue haunted but we have declared this one to be haunted HANDS DOWN! It has everything… full body spirits, orbs, evps, moving objects, communications through the P-SB7 Spirit Box, temperature variances, EMF spikes, voices from “nowhere”, dancing blue sparks that can be seen with the naked eye for extended periods of time, doors that lock on you… YOU NAME IT! This CASTLE is in Port townsend, my grandpa was stationed there, so I don’t think there is a castle in Maltby,Washington.
