Real Haunted House

Mary’s House

San Jose, California

This house, is haunted by two apparitions–Mary and her son. Sometimes Mary has been reported to be very nice; she teaches children nursery rhymes and reads them bed time stories. Other times, however, Mary is said to be very evil; she has set the house on fire at least four times. Once, she ripped a cat from a little girl’s arms and threw it down the hallway. Also in this house is one room that is freezing cold all the time. There have been reports of doors opening and closing by themselves, objects moving around, and television and radio stations changing alone.

It’s funny that people want to say it is a hoax which is really not… Looks like the owners/family just don’t want that attention and don’t want people visiting or breaking inside the home. ThAts why there posting on here prob with fake names or there relatives so they can leave the home in peace. I hope someone sets that house on FIRE

My daughter did a tape recording on 7/18/11- in the afternoon, 7-8pm-ish in front of this house. She got feedback to a few questions that were asked….was a bit freaking! I don’t believe the people that are saying this is a hoax. Go check for yourself if your in the neighborhood.

I’ve gone seen the house myself. Right as I was heading to the house I felt something, sort of like a presence. As if something was wrong. The house is in Hellyer ave. San jose CA. It has been remodled thinking it would efface the paranormal, but still no chance. It has been bought by two different people, but no one currently lives there. Its vacant, but has installed alarm for intrudrs that try to go in. I hear is cleaned up not very often by some guy. Also there are rocks around the house which supposedly enchants the house to calm such spirits down. The rocks are very big and were the only ones i sw around the neighbor hood. However, like I said before, you can feel something as you are near the house.

Actually the real story is three familes that lived there in the past have all killed themselves once they moves in. not only is it huanted by ghots but by denomic forces. I have lived here in san jose all my life and have heard all the stories. Once I went there and saw lights being turned on and off and doors slamming and the house is empty. the rocks in front are in some kind of formation to keep the spirits and demons trapped there. If you have any REAL stories or have lived next to it i would love to hear it email me at eyselgarcia@yahoo.com.

553 hellyer rd is the address. but the story does sound to vauge. ive heard it was either a man killed his wife and buried her in the backyard. and ive heard that a teenage girl commit suicide there because her family would or did disapprove over her pregnancy. i need more facts. its all to sketch. the house is gated but there is an open driveway. and there is a light on at all times. there is also a sensor alarm when anyone comes near the door, it goes off. im sure the owners or real estate kno the house have a bad rap and just wanna keep hoodlums away from breaking in the house. which im sure has happened multiple times.

I was there n Dec.7th 2011 on a Funeral. When we pass through on our way to a temple on Senter my friend pointed out the house that his soccer team mate bought it for an investment years age. While he was TLC the home one day and it was late to drive back to Oakland he decided o spent the evening there. First time he heard was noise from ceiling and voices from little kids. since he was a Buddish follower there werent much to be afraid. So so on 2 time He heard the same. Until when the third time the house about to finish he decided to spent the entire weekend there before pout on tha market. Next thing he realized woke up by neighbor next door and they ASKED Did you get thrown out ? The spot was the ROCK BLOCK FROM ENTRY… GEEEEE

I live just 2 blocks away from that house, and I doubt this house is haunted. I’d say in several afternoons between 1-2PM, I would see the owner’s car parked on the driveway with the gate and sometimes the garage door open (didn’t get a clear look of what’s inside). I also heard from a local friend of my dad’s that the owner works long hours (leaves early morning and comes back late at night) and occasionally comes back for lunch breaks. Just recently, I passed by the house at around 7PM on a weekend and the lights at the living room of the house were on (you can see from a upper window on the back of the house by the wall that separates it), and therefore the house is most likely occupied. So who knows, while the house seems vacant with the blinds shut, it probably isn’t as there’s at least a person (not apparition) occupying the house and probably parks his car in the garage. And for the people that think the house is rebuilt, I don’t think it is since according to county permit records, there is no record of it being remodeled or rebuilt; it’s just well-kept. The clerk recorder’s public county search shows that the original owner still owns the house and never has he transferred the title to anyone after 1989 (the year the house was built). However, the only part of the house I’m still uncertain of are the rocks in front of the house, as its placement is somewhat unique.

I live by Mary’s house . It’s been closed for a long period of time. If you look at the house it looks very dark and abandon . There hasn’t been a fire lately . The goverment owns the house. Mary is not an evil person . She causes the fire to keep her son safe. The whole family was killed by a robber . She causes fires to get revenge on the people who killed the family . If you get a clOse look at the house you can see mary & her son .

YOU PEOPLE ARE STUPID. You guys are asking “why would people still live in the house if it got burnt down 4 times?” did the story say people still live in the house. NO dumbasses.
