Real Haunted House

Mason’s Cemetery

Corvallis, Oregon

It is alleged that a male witch was buried here after he seduced many of the married women of the town. It is said that if one goes to the cemetery, a spirit will stand next to him and cause a cool breeze to creep up his leg.

the energy of this place was amazing! also the images on film i captured were totally astounding! so let the non believer decide for himself, but take along a camera just in case!

My wife and I are having spirit activity near Witham Hill Dr. near the Oddfellows Cemetery. This is no joke and I am not an Oddfellow. We are thinking it could have been from someone transplanted from underneath our house and reburied across the street. Anyone have any experiences similar and/or any knowledge thereof? The “spirit” of a women from Utah 1870 and a man from Carlsbad, CA. have come to the forfront and seem to be trying to communicate. The spirit seems to have a dislike for men.

I live right beside this cemetery and have walked through it every evening mostly after dark as I work during the day. I take my two dogs(a german shepard and a dalmation) to run them down at the crystal lake soccor field area. We cut through the graveyard because I don’t need to leash them and it is a short cut. I have never seen anything spooky or unusual and neither have my dogs. I’m never looking for anything though, but you would think my dogs would have let me know if something was “weird”.

A few years ago some friends and I were checking out the cemetery late at night. We witnessed glowing fog, and an angry man who kept playing tricks on us. This is a very “active” cemetery.

I would like to check this Cemetary out, but can’t find any listed online or in the phone book with any of the names listed on here. Can someone give me a street address or directions to this cemetary.

“Masons” cemetery is actually called the “Masonic Cemetery” and it is located on Crystal Lake drive. Here is a link to some history of the cemetery : http://www.gazettetimes.com/articles/2008/02/09/news/community/2loc11_clipsintime.txt

It is truly a shame that posts above (see dated March ‘08, person posts twice) that contain not a scrap of information regarding this “attraction” are allowed to remain on here. Below where I am entering this information (because I truly AM interested in ‘allegedly’ haunted places) it suggests that I am to use correct grammar, capitalization and punctuation so that this thread of comments can “keep looking classy,” but those posts are allowed to remain? As a person who is likely to be reading these comments, I’m at least a little bit offended. Thank you for your time. (feel free to delete MY comment, as it in now way depicts information about this attraction either!) Enjoy your day.

This is total ****. I live in the apartments across from the cemetery and about 5 months ago my room mate and i went to check it out because we are curious about cemeteries. Iv only jus read about this male witch and when we were there nothing happened and jus to remind you we went 5 months BEFORE reading this. Im very into paranormal but goin there having no ideas about the place…definitly didnt feel or see anything. Just because its a cemetery doesnt mean its haunted…

The Oddfellows Cemetery, located on Witham Hill Drive, is about the same age with the first burial dating to ca. 1858. The land for the cemetery was acquired by the Oddfellows from A.M. Witham who owned the donation land claim upon which it is located (Mid-Valley Genealogical Society, Vol. IV, 1991). THIS is the cemetery in question, NOT the others mentioned in some of these comments. I have done some research and plan to go there with my camera.

donna sharp says:

It is known as St Mary’s Cemetery and is at Witham Hill Drive and Grant.
