I live right down the street from METZ..The old one was torn down and they remodeled it and made a brand new one. The bricks that fell down for no apparent reason happened to fall on a family friend. It was all over the news for a good while about all the sightings and what was being heard. It’s true, so like I said before shut the hell up youngsta!

I have lived in Austin for 16 years-which means all my life. I have NEVER heard this story. And I’m interested in all these ghost stories in stuff, but I never believe them. I only watch these shows because I like learning the history of these places. I’m a nerd, but I don’t care.

I just happend to find this site when I done a search on the web to read about Metz elementary school.People this school does exsist and I know for sure something went on during reconstuction in that school in the early 90″S AT the time I worked in a convenience store and started talking to some workers that went to my store in the morning before going
to work at that location They said work was slow as workers constantly quit the jobbecause of strange goings
on.By the way the wall never fell down it EXPLODED for no reason at all after a worker took his hammer to a wall to tear down sheet rock.Due to his death a investigation could not determine ANY CAUSE.It was said at first it was natural gas methane gas so on. This was an attempt to cover it up with an explanation for insurance purposes WHY? well because they couldnt find any reason for it This people is the real story.

Okay I live on the east side of Austin, Metz is a real school and it is still standing. Its located at 84 Robert T Martinez Jr St/Austin, TX 78702. Now for all of you who are guessing its haunted for this or that reason. Back in the 80′s unsolved mysteries and 48hrs did a series on hauntings and good ol’ATX made the cut. The history behind it has nothing to do with a kid killing themselves the episode was about how you can hear native indians chanting or walking down this long corridor that leads from one side of the school to the other. I am sure you can google it. Now I have never been to the school because I decided not to tempt whatever is there, if there is something. who knows?!

I lived right down the street on canterbury, and i went to that school when i was in pre-k all the way to 6th grade. If yall ever visit metz go to the gym and turn only one light on and towards the back on a yellow matt it will look like theres a body just hanging form the back board. And go to the restrooom down towards the right and go to the corner and sit there with lights off youll feel a real cold *** breeze!! I know i freaking expirenced this no lie go try it!!!
