Real Haunted Houses

Real Haunted House

Metz Elementary School

Austin, Texas

When this school was demolished in 1990 there were numerous reports of strange occurrences. It is said the bulldozers would stop working just as they reached the century old building. Constantly, workers fell from ladders and tools disappeared. Workers also began reporting children’s writings on the blackboards and ghosts in the restrooms. Things got so bad that an exorcism was performed. Shortly afterwards, a wall inexplicably fell and killed a worker. Today there are still reports of restless child-ghosts at the site.

Ok, so my friends and I were talking about some things that have happened to us in the course of time, and they came up with something to happened to them regarding this school. This is what they told me, and I would like to find out more about this school. They were telling me that they had heard that this school was haunted, so they decided to go to this school, which they clearly stated the intersecting streets. They told me that the windows seemed a little fogged up, and they were going around it in their car. They soon came up to what it seemed to be a dimmed blue light inside this room. They looked around from the outside of course, since they are a bunch of girls, (scared) and one of them saw this arm, like it was holding something. She screamed, and they left. They talked about it for a while, and decided to go back. Don’t ask me why or how they came up with going back, but they did. So again, they saw the dim blue light, and the four of them, which were 3 girls and a guy, saw the arm in the room. Looked like a construction workers arm, like he has holding something, or pushing something back. So they left, and got on the internet, trying to figure out what was going on with that school. They found out, that there was a worker that had died in that school, where a wall had fallen on top of him. So looks like that day, they saw that worker. I’ve been trying to go there, but not alone, reason being that i’ve had things happen to me as well. But of course, you always have that adrenaline pumping in you, bringing you back to those things. Looks like everytime people see ghost, it’s pretty much they are re-living what was once before.

I remember when my moms freind moved, we visited her during the holidays. When we got to the house I noticed a building in front of her house being demolished. my moms freind told me that it was an old school being torn down. i could see the classrooms in ruin. inside i could see the chalkboards. i was so scared when she told me that the construction guys could see when the chalkbooard would mysteriously start having messages on them. i was so scared to even look at the building.

I was just swapping ghost stories with my girlfriend and wanted to prove to her that Metz was a real place , and stumbled on to your site . To start I was a security guard for a company called ” Longhorn ” in 1990 . We were rsponsible for the overnite security of the site . Let me tell you that I was not a true believer in the paranormal before I was stationed at this school . Let me point out this school was not in the greatest of neighborhoods , so I took my gun , which I did not need because no one in the neighborhood would even walk on the same side of the street as the school . Also , the whole time I was there I could here these kids laughing and playing . This would have seemed appropriate and normal , had it not been pitch black dark out , and if I had accually seen some kids . Even so it wasn’ t until I was relaying this story to someone else that I realized that the whole time I was looking for proof of ghost , I had already been exposed to them . Metz is a place that made the hair stand on my neck.

Wow! I went to Metz from Pre-k(Ms.Milam) to 4th grade(Ms.Krebs) and this story is true..You dont go to the Restroom on Friday the 13th because the lights turn On and Off..My cousin once said that they were passing by and they saw Wrting on the windows leading up to the Cafeteria line in blood..I cant justify that but thats what they said..But i kno this story is true…

I went there from 2-5th grade. One day in gym someone said they saw a figure on the blue mats on the wall. I creeps me out when I pass it thinking i am going to see something by the cafeteria where you wait behind the stage. I heard it was by the wall that feel on man was where the basketball thing where the us map is.
