Hey Judy appreciate the thanks. Don’t know if your family or the school hired us but the night at Metz was my last night with Longhorn security. Sorry I did not finish the night,but I have never been so scared in my life.

i used to go to metz. back when it was the old school and the new one. when they tore down the school back it 1990. shorty after when the new school was built i was there after helping a techer set up. we heard kids in the hallway but when we went outside the wasnt no one. till today i dont know what we heard…

I lived in that are for most of my life. When I was young in elementary Metz was a small school all the stories that you hear of the machines and a man dying and the children being heard are true. They were remodeling the old school so that it was nicer and larger. When I did attend the school never had we heard such things but when they decided to knock it all down thats when everything started happening. I watched the progress because I lived right down the steet from the school. Everything that happened there was real but as for what goes on now I couldn’t tell you although I do vouch for the construction having to be put on hold because the workers were scared and that the machines were not working, and of course the man who died when a wall fell on him.

YEPP IT’S A REAL SCHOOL I WENT THERE FROM KINDERGARTEN TILL 6TH GRADE AND IT’S SPOOKY ALRIGHT! MY CUZ AND I DARED EACH OTHER TO SPEND THE NIGHT ON THE ROOF TOP WE DID IT AND WE NEVER SAW OR HEARD ANYTHING .BUT WE USED TO ALWAYS SEE THE COMPUTERS TURN ON AT NIGHT FROM MY FRIENDS WHO LIVED ACROSS THE STREET ON CANTERBERRY ST.THAT WAS SPOOKY .SO I’M TRYING TO FIND THE UNSOLVED MYSTER SHOW AND CANT FIND IT DOES ANY ONE HAVE THE LINK ???? I’D LIKE TO SEE IT ,IT’S BEEN YEARS SINCE I HAVE SEEN IT .

Metz is not haunted. I taught there for many years. It is a wonderful place. The kids love the excitement around Halloween and Dia de los Muertes and they tend to exaggerate quite a bit.

Well nunya…maybe you can tell me how a staircase went up into complete darkness to a third story, in a two story building. Any reasonable explanation on that?

wow all this information is interesting!i believe i started going to metz in 1993 from pre-k to 6th grade and we always talked about the school being haunted and about hearing thing and seeing things mostly in the bathrooms and the classrooms. yes people would say they could hear children laughing and playing and bouncing balls. i remember our 6th grade year the 6th graders actually spent the night inside the school and went esploring the whole school for unusual events. yes alot of memories at that school. computers turning on an off by themselves, music playing inside locked classrooms,cold rushes, and i remember walking down the hallways by myself and i would sometimes hear footsteps coming behind me and their would be no one and its true when u pass by the school u get a wierd kinda strange feeling.i remember seeing the report they did on the school in unsolved mysteries. well haunted or not i miss metz i leave many spooky memories of my childhood in that school. i was wondering tho if anyone could tell me wwho was the worker that died while they were demoliting the old metz?

Cheli, got ur message I BELIEVE YOU! It wz a very crazy day i still remember it like yesterday…(I miss my daddy) he is now gone as of
11/21/2004 . He wz the Owner/Operator ….Our worker wz named:
Otto Gutirrez at the time of his death he wz only 46yrs of age. His wz orginally from the Eastside..but wz living at half way house: Strafford house on 19th street (Rehab)..He had alot of kids but one special step son
his name is Nash Hernandez . His wife at the time wz name: Nattalie Gutirrez .
After his death she received a Big $$$ money through our Workercomp and General Liability Insurance. Last I heard that she wz broke 1year after his death. Reason??? She went on a Big shopping spree…and his real blood
kids didn’t get nothing. That morning he told my daddy that he didn’t feel good he stated: I feel like something bad is gonna happen…He lost his appetite and gave his Tacos away, Otto never gave his food up and said I feel funny Mr. Torres…Something bad is gonna happen to me i feel it. i need to go home..my dad really need him to work so he stayed. one hour after returning back from lunch…it HAPPEN he wz GONE.
He felt his death comming……….rest in peace OTTO.

Most important of all my daddy paid for his funeral because they didn’t have the money…I ” LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU DADDY”! ….rest in peace daddy.

i went to that school K-1st grade, my older sister went there as well and it was pretty creepy i ALWAYS wondered what that was up with the bathrooms, and the green stuff near the library, Anyways me sister stayed the night at that school with her teacher and friends and supposly (sp) they saw a child-ghost thingy o.o

i went to this school last yr and this school is defenitly haunted.

this is crazy people always saying hey i lived there i know this to be true but others sayin otherwise so why doesnt everyone just stop lying cause sure some paranormal activity exists, i believe that, however i honestly think that if an exorcism was done it would be in the papers and i highly doubt that there was anything in the paper talking about that. and the records of that wouldnt be lost yet seeing as it was as recent as 1990. anyways give me documented prove of paranormal activity and i’ll believe it

I loved that school went there from kinder till 6th grade.I gotta say it was a great school yet it was kinda creepy I personaly never epirienced nothing paranormal but that certanly does not mean any one else has’nt.
