@ Bonilla
About the old Berta Cabaza Middle School being haunted. I wouldn’t be too sure that’s true at all. I was there when the incident happened. Her name is Yvette Salinas. During their lunch break kids were out in the front court yard, high winds, and the pole was a very tall and rusted pole. It fell, hit her on the head. She died from loss of blood. I grew up with her little brother, he also happeneds to be my ex-boyfriend. This happened roughly around 1995, her brother is still alive and well today, he is 23 years old. I’ve never heard any such things about her haunting BCMS. The only thing I have heard though is a couple of my friends brought out a voice recorder and did record suspicious noises and voices (i guess). We also have to consider this building is a very old building dated back in the 1800’s. This “haunting” could be anything. For everyones information.

Another thing, the old Berta Cabaza is located in San Benito, Texas. It’s been vacated since 1997. Rumors say it was going to be turned into a museum. Yes, It is a very creepy building, especially always going through the halls with the old black and white pictures of the passed Alumni up on the walls. ( Berta Cabaza used to be a High School ) I’d love for people to check it out and put it to a test. I’ve been wanting to do it myself for years.

There are many places and many scary stories around the valley. From the little handprints behind the cars to voices and appearances. My grandmother (may she rest in peace) would tell me that by FM RD 1847 (towards Arroyo) at the stroke of midnight, one could see a white floating ghost and an eerie whistling noise. This lady would be making her way from the cemetery (behind HEB)to the Arroyo and literally disappear in front of my grandmother’s house into the dark night. No one knew who she was in life just a lady in search of her family. I did not stay around too long to see if this was for real. I was under the covers or just in the kitchen with my dad. Too scared!

I remember when i went to the cemetary. My granmother is buried there. And I have seen the woman ghost. It is true. I am also a naitive of Brownsville currently living in Houston. I was with 4 other friends and we were at the stop sign.It was foggy that night and we did see her walk behind the car away from the cemetary. We were Drinking and smoking that night so we really didnt believe our own eyes, But we all shared the same experience and we knew we all did see it. But to me it was more of a white fuzzy sort of shadow. but more like fog and it was like a trip… Now about Camp Lulu, My sister went to that camp back in the late 70’s. She was around 9 or 10 yrs old. and she would like to know when all the supposed “murders” took place. in what year? When she was at Camp Lulu she never heard anything of ghosts..so we would like to know about that… Now as far as Casa De Colores, me and the same friends went To a place behind the college or rather on the side of the property. its just outside of downtown.I dont remember the name of the street but the school Is across the street from El Expresso bus lines. Its next to a ball park and in the middle or outside of the school..Now I dont think it was Casa De Colores but It was supposedly haunted. there was a dirt road to go up and it was a lil hill. This was like 7 yrs ago and at the time it did not have a gate there. and the road was narrow. It was dark the night we went, but we could see that if we turned wrong we were gonna end up in the water. The sides were surrounded with water and we drove all the way in side.(it was late like @ 1 or 2am) Then we parked when we got to an old abandoned white house with boards all over. There was an empty lot to the left of the house and we got down and started walking around The empty lot.Someone once said that a house used 2 be there but it was burned down. But I felt like there was something there under neath the place.you could tell that there was a basement or something under the place. Well, we started hearing things like wispering and like if somthing was walking toward us..Now I understand that that could have been an animal or an illigal imigrant walking, since it is know as a hiding place for them cuz of all the trees and being in the middle of the woods(imigration is always there).Anyways, We got freaked cuz the noises cot closer and it seemed like it was following us.When we got back to the car, we turned the car and the fog lights on and locked the doors. But We all felt the door moving and sounding like someone was tryng to open the doors! We got very freaked out and scared So we turned around and left. But when we were leaving, My friends in the back seat started panicing and screaming to go faster cuz someone was chasing us.Well one of my friends was driving and I was in the front seat, the both of us in the front did not see anything when we turned around. But the ones in the back saw it..they only saw two head lights and when we got close to the front they said it dissapeared! I believe they did see something cuz the two girls were crying in fear and the other guy in the back was like in shock or something he was quiet the whole way home..But the Girls keeped swearing they saw a car and they keeped asking us why we didnt see the lights..To this day they still swear up and down on what they saw..They think were crazy for “NOT” seeing the lights!….But ok, one more comment. Its about the Club called Casa Blanca. Ive been there before, along time ago and I never heard anything about the story and I never felt anything evil there.I can usually pick up that sort of thing quick..But my mom,However, does remember hearing that story, she was like 7 when my grandmother told her about it..My Grandmother used to go to that club at the time.. But she had said she wasnt there on that day her friends told her about it.. so Im still not sure it it was real or not..

i searched camp lulu well i think it is..on google maps..and the road ends at some steel gates..and all i can see in the 360* view is some gates that have like birds or so on the gate and this i think its the name of the place but i cant zoom it in because its not as clear but i can see something like a street light pole but maybe its a camera…so is this camp lulu…thers a long river in the back and a street is conected (Butlet St) but you also cant view it well part of it because i think its a dirt road or the person who did the maps (because at some point you can see the car with camers in them) didnt go that far..oh also where is the BISD Camp..i dont know if you ever went but is this the camp..Camp lulu the camp where the BISD took the students..i was in middle school when i went and i remember they had a swimming pool…and there were these cabens but when we asked the teacher she didnt let us get close to that..my friends and i tried to get close but we got introuble…they kept on telling us it wasnt safe..mistery there..but those cabens sure looked old..
