But the absolute creepyiest place is rail town in james town its a 5 minute walk from the national and more stuff happens there then anywhere in that town (if you know where to look)

when i was 10 years old i lived in sonora which is 5 min or so away from jamestown. my brother and i are dare devils and we made a bet for 50 dollars to stay the whole night on holloween. well my dad knew the owner and we got the place to ourselfs. we kept hearing shattering glass and gun shots we could not figure out where it was coming from. then we remembered a story our dad told us miners use to leave shot glasses on the counter and when they left the glasses would be shot. so my brother and i tried to test the theory and put the shot glasses on the counter we left and as soon as we rounded the corner the glasses shattered. when we came back the glasses had been thrown against the wall. so we thought some one was pulling our legs so we got two more glasses and put them on the table and poured flour around the table glasses and floor. as soon as we left the room we heard the shattering came back and found the glasses thrown against the wall and the flour was the way we left it. later we were trying to sleep and we heard crashing around the kitchen like there was a hurricane in the kitchen. then we went to the kitchen we opened the door and my brother and i were pushed from the door. we were pretty scared so we decided to quit playing tricks with the ghosts and went upstairs and tried to sleep we could'nt so we waited till morning and our dad came to pick us up. we mad the 50 dollars though we took some pictures in the resturaunt and kitchen there was a head in two of the pics and orbs in a few more. if you like this kind of stuff jamestown is a great place to visit. the history is soooo cool.

when i was 10 i lived in sonora not 5 min from jamestown my brother and i were dare devils and people bet us 50 dollars we would not stay the night. my dad knew the owners and he got them to let us stay. there was no one but us in the place and there was sounds of shattering glass and gun shots. it was a little freaky. the topper was we put some shot glasses on a table and they got threw against the wall. so we put the glases down and put flour all over the glasses and the table and floor we left the room and heard the glasses shatter when we went back all we found were the shattered glasses and the flour the way we left it. but we stayed the whole night and made 50 dollars and got tons of pictures. a couple have this figure of just a head. jamestown is a great place for paranormal activity because of the towns history i would def. go visit this town if you are into that stuff.

My husband and I stayed at the National about 10 years ago. We didn't see, feel or hear anything out of the ordinary. Sorry.

I worked in and spent a lot of time in this establishment from 1982-1992. I have been touched, kicked, pushed, leaned on, you name it. I have been in that bar/restaurant/hotel very very late at night when it was just me and one other employee present. A lot of weird noises, cold spots, etc.....never anything that would make me run in fear though.
So cool to have found this page.
Thanks
