I live on Fort Riley and I haven’t heard of an NCO club on Post. There is an old theater that this story has been connected to,though.

The “NCO” club is the only club on Ft. riley. Currently called Rally Point, previously known as Troopers, and a few other names. At one point a long time ago it WAS an NCO club.
MP stands for Military Police for whomever asked that, and This is a partial story connected with the full story at the old Theater. There are a lot of places and stories for Ft. Riley. For those in the area there is a haunted walk every Halloween that takes you through all the places, and the REAL stories behind them.. well, real enough anyways.

I grew up on Fort Riley and my husband and I have been stationed here for 12 years, so I have spent quite a bit of time in the houses on Fort Riley. I am also a tour guide for the Ghost Tours every year. The answer to this question is yes there is or was an NCO club on Custer Hill, it is now the Child/Youth Services building. Riley’s Conference was the Officer’s club and Rally Point was the Enlisted Club on post. The story was part of a story regarding the the old theater on Main Post. Happy Haunting!

My husband and I lived on Ft Riley back in the 70s and there was an NCO club there on Custer Hill. We lived at Camp Forysth which there was post housing, for E-5 and above. Not sure about this anymore, the rules for post housing has changed. But back in those days we also heard stories of hauntings there at Camp Forysth.

i beg to differ my dad was stationed on Ft. Riley from 1967 -1969. back in those days there were a couple clubs
there one on main post and i recall my dad calling it the NCO club. But the Rally Point is more commonly called an EM club.

My X-Husband was Air Force and I do know that EVERY Military Base has an NCO (non-commissioned officers) Club, and an Officers Club as well. FT. Riley would not have been very different back when it was in it’s peak use. Maybe all of you “skeptics” should make a point to go there, or perhaps do some research on the Base’s past history BEFORE you jump to your ignorant conclusions!

“Ghosts are haunt” really??? I should trust a post from some illiterate kid? It WOULD be “ghosts haunt.”

there is an old NCO club on Riley now commonly known as Riley confrence center. there used to be a full bar downstairs and that’s where the supposed haunting is. not saying it’s true or not, just clarifying. there are lots of other supposed hauntings at Riley to include, officer housing on old main post, the theater on old post, the land that the tent city was on, the hospital, the creamitorium, and a few more that i have heard.

I’ve been there. It is an extremely haunted base because of the amount of tragedy that happened there over many generations. If you have a relative stationed there or visit you can buy ghosts of Fort Riley booklets that the Fort Riley museum on the base sells. There is also a ghost walk around Halloween that describes the hauntings. My 84 yr old dad thought it was haunted when he was stationed there. This place is real! Join up and be stationed there. It will make you a believer!

I was stationed there as a MP. From 01′-03′ I patrolled the midnight shift. Never had anything wierd happen at the old NCO club. My best friend along with half a dozen other MPs experienced some wierd stuff at the old theater on main post. I myself definatily experienced a ghost, twice in the basement of Riley’s Club. Without a doubt that base is haunted.

I thought this was a place for ppl to tell ghost stories. If you don’t believe, why bother wasting your time commenting on that. Who cares. If you have a story then tell it. Don’t you ppl know by now, that a place where many ppl have died, some never pass on. They have some unfinished business to take care of. When I die, I will haunted the ones that deserve it. LMFAO!!! And I won’t be nice either.

I live on Fort Riley now in the new Forysth housing. I have been to the old NCO club and I can tell you that I have felt something different there as well as the new housing area. It always have a strange wind and one of the kids in the area repoted being touch on the should when she was standing alone. She wont go back to that spot again. I know there are things on FOrt Riley you cant but help feel them.

I currently work at the hospital on ft. riley and the basement of the hospital is very haunted. the doors of the elevators would open when you just walk past them. and there are black formless apprations that walk down there. I hate being down there alone at night.

I lived on Fort Riley 53′-58′ and there was an NCO Club at the corner of Holbrook Ave and Pershing Ct. The next building over heading east on Pershing was the school house where I attended 5th and 6th grade. There the only thing scary was my classmate Newt Gingrich, future US Speaker of the House. Fort Riley is a beautiful jewel on the prairie and I hope it is protected as many of the old cavalry structures have disappeared since I lived there. There used to be an old cavalry horse obstacle course east of Camp Forsyth that was just plowed down. Shame, shame.

i currently live at fort riley across from the old px and i have heard all of the stories and keep hearing new ones. i live on meade loop in one of a plexs. my husband and my neighbor’s daugter swear that we have a ghost in our apartment. there is a maintance man who refuses to come into our building because he is positive that it is haunted. he will only come in when he has to. i will admit weird things happen in our apartment or we hear weird things here.

Around 1957-1958, an enlisted man shot to death a young Lieutenant with a military rifle in the building next to the west side of Wainwright Hall. I believe this happened in the daytime and took place on the veranda on the east side of the building. That’s the only violent incident I can recall from the period I lived there and never heard about ghosts until this site and the vids on youtube.
