I was just reading more of the postings about the Normandy/Normandie Inn and one of them sent a chill down my spine. As I stated before, I worked there and lived in the downstairs apartment for a brief time. Well one of my nightly duties was to vacuum the entire dining room carpet after all of the guests and staff left for the evening. After which, I would retire to the apartment. Well, in the morning, before the restaurant would open, there would be footprints in the carpet.What is even stranger to me was that the prints were of barefeet. I never said anything to the owners but there were a few more strange happenings that I would rather forget. Just thinkng of my time there gives me the creeps.

I also worked at the Normandy quite a few years ago. I also briefly lived in the main level apartment.I must admit that I did experience some creepy occurances. The owners were very nice though,but as mentioned before, when the place was empty I still had a feeling that I wasnt alone.

Loraine I know its been some time since you posted a comment about your grandmother and the Normandie Inn. I’m sorry to hear about her and your families misfortunes. My grandmother leased that building for many years until her death in 1961. My stepgrandfather quickly married one of the waitresses there, her name was Marie. My grandmothers will vanished and all my childhood toys and grandmothers valuables were never to be seen again. I hope there was a ghost there and she is haunting Marie! She was a money hungary evil person whom no good fortune should have ever fell upon!

your not gonan be able to book a room the hotel is abandoned now i walk up to it all the time and knock on the doors and look thru the windows its boarded it up and they have plexi glass over some windows but if u climb up it the windows on the second floor are broken and you can get in but no one will go with me aand im not goin alone

This haunted house scared me. A zombie popped out in front of me from outta nowhere and I immediately crapped in my pant’s!!!! You shoulda seen me singing Feed My Frankenstein as I was trying to walk through the haunted house with diarrhea dripping down my leg’s going right into my leather boot’s. Some leaked onto the floor and the people behind me stepped in it and made smelly brown sneaker mark’s throughout the house. 1 of the people slipped on my diarrhea puddle and fell flat on there ***!! I had no choice but to laugh. Needless to say it was a very scary and very smelly adventure. Be sure to wear adult diapers when you walk in. Explosive Diarrhea is inevitable.

And, btw, the food was great! One of the toughest things about living there was the wonderful aroma that constantly drifted upstairs, wanted to eat constantly!
