Real Haunted House

North Dakota State University

Fargo, North Dakota
By Lisa

Several apparition sightings have been seen throughout the campus of North Dakota State University in Fargo.

One such sighting is that of a man who is said to have hung himself in Ceres Hall during WWII.  Most sightings of this spirit are on the 3rd floor of the Hall and in the basement.

Another ghostly story occurred on the 4th floor attic of Minard Hall in the 1920s-which was used as a dance room.  While no one knows the details, lore says that one morning a janitor found two dead people there and was an apparent double homicide.  The dance room was turned into the zoology lab years later, only to close in the 1960s.  Today, students who sneak up there still say they feel a strong, unfriendly presence.
