Where’s everyone at? I heard the owner man is going to have the school bulldozed this fall. Anyone else hear this? It’ll be the end of the legend forever. If he does at least we’ll all remember where it was. I wonder if he’d sell it?

Haunted LA, All I have on the tank farm is what I wrote in the story. It was a long time ago. You can still see where some of the tanks were. Going into Cargill Park on Wisteria Lane from the Jewella side, as soon as you go in the gate, there is a pond on the right. This pond is the base where one of the tanks were. If you go on in from Wisteria and keep to the right and go down to the lower baseball fields you’re real close to where the boy died in the grain elevator. Also where Walker Road ends into 70th behind the airport you can see that the ground is so contaminated that grass wont grow on it.(contaminated ground out there is very common even in the baseball park) This is where a large tank once was. There was about a three foot deep pool of tar left after the tank was removed and it was covered over with sand. My freind ran his mini bike into it once and they never got all the tar off of it. Lots of animals got trapped in it just like the La Brea tar pits in Ca. Because of the sand you couldn’t see the tar at all. There was always something going on out there. The Airport Authority controls all the land outside the fenced area of the park so you better not get caught out there. It’s a Federal offense. (National Security) I’ll see what else I can come up with.

C.P.R. went to the school this past Friday around noon. As I was coming out of the gym and entering the breezeway, I did hear a few children laughing and talking but only for a few seconds. My best guess is that what I was hearing is possibly residual energy from kids playing at lunch recess back when the school was open. I posted a blog and I also have alot of photos posted on the C.P.R. myspace page. Ellerbe has grown up alot since the last time I’ve been there. Maybe its only because its summer though.

Those pics surprised me. I cant believe that the school is that overgrown with weeds. Last time I went out there it was nothing like that. I dont have the pics I took when I was out there but I still have the negatives. Ill try to get them developed and put them online.

I dont remeber who it was but someone asked ab the tower in Shreve City. Me and some friends used to go out there before they blocked the road off. Everyone used to call it the Witch’s Tower. I think its just an old smoke stack from a factory that used to be there. I dont think you can even get to it now with out walking down the road since they put those metal posts up. It used to be over grown with tress and there were 4 wheeler trails all back there.

ok, first of all the old ford with a bullet hole and a demon driving it sounds like ****, and the story about the stone table, ha yea right. me and lots of my friends have been out there over 8 times and we havent seen a stone table yet. we did hear screams and things like that but not a bell ringing or cows in the classrooms we did go out there during the day one time about 4 or so and walked out to the watertower there is tall grass and a little brick building by the tower looks like maybe an electrical room for the school. and we went into the gym about 3 in the morning and sat on the bleachers for about 20 minutes to see if we heard anything but uffortunitly we didnt the last time we did go we took a digital camera with us and randomly took pictures and there is stuff in the school you have to zoom in on the pictures and when you do you see faces and lots of orbs around but most of this is on the outside of the school and we did see some close to the road but the school is defenitly scary if you believe in ghost and spirits one time we messed up and didnt bring a flashlight so we used our cellphones for light. but there are different ways to get there but the way we took was when you get to shreveport you take the 17B exit and then you go down to 3132 exit and follow that around and youll see a sign that says ellerbe road and youll go down about 12-13 miles and youll pass a couple of caution lights and youll see 4 towers on the left you keep goin but youll have to slow down and youll see white paint on the road and the school is on the right there is a rock driveway on the left where there was an oil rig but its torn down now thats usually where we park but ive heard theres cops patrolling the place and you have to park 2 miles down the road but ive never seen cops but there was a fence up but now its torn down but you will see a couple of logs layin on the ground in front so you cant pull up in there. but if you wanna see pictures send me an email @ aaronturner4@hotmail.com!!!

also we went out there with about 4 people and when we were walkin up to the school we started hearing screaming and our flashlights went off so we ran back to the car

I have just vowed to be nice from now on. Tara Ashley is a good influence on me. Has anyone read the post I made a long time ago about the intersection of 175 and Ellerbe before you get to the school? Someone needs to go out there and check this out when it cools off. I think Charmed One answered me about the black dogs standing there looking at you and the old hanging tree that’s gone now. The church is falling down and it’s one of the two original buildings left from the town. I saw some guys out there one day trying to get the windows out of it. The apparition at the intersection is more scary than anything at the school.

Thanx Drake:) After looking at all CPRs pics, I still cant beleive how over over grown Ellerbe is. Im just curious…everyone that says they go out there and have been out there many times. Where do yall park and how do yall get away with being on the property. Especially in the day time??? Im just curous bc Im thinking ab making a trip out there sometime soon. I havent been in a long time and when I was going out there the cops werent really patroling it that much.

Tara, you can barely tell it’s a school now. The vines have grown all over the walls. If you don’t know where it is you’ll probably drive right past it. I looked at Ben’s pics. They were very good. He’s going to call me in the fall when he comes back to go to the Pea Farm. I’ll let you know and our gang can meet up with him and his wife. I haven’t been there in a very long time. I told him I’d have to wait until the nights are cold to run the snakes in before I go. Last time I was there we saw dozens of snakes around the building and in the flooded basement and it wasn’t overgrown yet like it is now. I was a bit younger and a whole lot dumber then, lol. I posted the Tank Farm story on Jonathon’s web site, Haunted La. One evening I’ll go down the tracks and listen for myself. I hope I don’t hear anything.

we went out there last night with our friend who’s a cop and he said that they heard there were gona be satanic worshipers out there because they have had to run em’ off before. they practice their rituals in the auditorium(which did not get caught on fire. it was at the end of the first hallway and it happened when the school was’nt even being used.) he said they’ve found dogs and cats with their stomachs cut opened that the satanic worshipers had “sacrificed”. theyve found two dead bodies that werent killed there but dumped there. he said that the 13 times he’s been there he’s never seen, or heard anything abnormal….. ITS ALL A CROCK OF ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
