Old Trinity Church
Behind the graveyard is a small path that leads to a cross-shaped clearing. The animals that make this clearing their home are thought to be possessed–so is the church. Allegedly the serial killer, Mike Ross, buried his victims behind the church and in blood wrote, “I love little girls.” These women are thought to be the cause of the paranormal activity that exists there today.

O.K.
Time to put this to an End. Brooklyn CT, Boring place yes but at the same time. TWO count them TWO Trinity Chruchs. Hence the Name “OLD TRINITY CHURCH” So for you people who said it is still being used and for those who have been inside. I say to you this. Take a look at the real one. There is a care taker as it seems the grounds are kept but no one has been in there for a long time only the town hold the key to it.
OH and by the way it is Haunted!! Just being next to it youll feel the presence.

Hello fellow people interested in the Old Trinity Church. I was told by many people that if you get in contact with the caretaker he can give you a tour. My friends and I are very interested in getting the history and stories of what goes on there and would love to go there. If anyone has information on how to get in contact with the caretaker you can contact me at jb42188@yahoo.com with details. If Dana, his wife, can get in contact with me that would be awesome as well. All in all, we are just wanting to figure out for ourselves if it is a myth or not and not get in trouble with police.

I live like 5 minutes away from Old Trinity and i have my entire life. I have been there many… many times. Two of my best friends live next door and across the street.. so no the sheriff doesn’t live across the street.. there is no sheriff in Brooklyn. There is a cross clearing in the back behind the church whcich is pretty interesting.. and the “i love little girls” thing is true… search it on the internet if you dont believe it. I went there with a video camera one night a few years back with a bunch of friends just playing around and when we looked at the tape later on you could see the figure of a man running right by us.. a full figure of a grown man.. creepiest thing I ever saw.. trinity is a creepy looking place.. and it is beautiful at the same time. there have also been accounts of faces in the upstairs windows too. Overall it is a interesting expeirence. I emailed TAPS a while back and told them they shuold investigate it. It is private property and cops in the area really dont like kids playin around there.. it is a cemetary…check it out!!!

I have been to Trinity Church a few times, and there is definitely paranotmal activity that goes on there. You are supposed to be able to see a lady in white, or children playing amongst the graves. Another thing you are supposed to see are lights going on and off in the church. The lights are very dim and come from the windows on the right side of the church. Don’t be confused by the spotlight though … only when it is all dark do you have the possibility of seeing the ligt. Don’t cause problems or vandalism there though, its very disrespectful.

Maybe I’m to much of a skeptic, but I’ve been to this place quite a few times, day and night. Never seen anything, nothing good in pics and no, absolutely no strange feelings. If you have something interesting I would love to see it! sarajeannemiller@yahoo.com.
and other CT places too

Look people the church may or may not be haunted, but I personally think that the church is but only at night. Or there could be another story behind it if you think about it how old is this church or the church grounds for that matter and for all those that actually know about the hole Ross story no the bodys weren’t fond at the church but spirits travel don’t they and for another matter it could be ome other spirits that have died there and for another matter have you ever heard of memories it is when the ghost that has died there doesn’t really know they are dead and so what you see could be a memory and they don’t even see you. For all those people that are like it is not haunted it could very well be never judge on what you know because you don’t know everything that has happend there and for all you know it could be. For all those people that have been there during the day what if it is only haunted at night that does happen and if you are to scared to go there during the night then why don’t you stop ragging on the people that have. For all of you that have good for you for all of you that haven’t then leave them alone till you go there at night yourself!

As far as old trinity church goes, I live 10 minutes away from it, and it is still being used. People get married there, and there has been no proof of ANY hauntings here EVER. It is however, believed that BEHIND THE WALL in the back of the church, in the clearing, cults have practiced rituals there, but there is NO proof of this eithier. Michael Ross only left one victim behind the church, and she was not buried there, she was left in the graveyard, out in the open.

I am a member of Trinity church. Old Trinity is still used in warm weather. I believe its once a month. The story you havent mentioned is that The under ground railroad that was in town ran from houses in the area to the babsement of Old Trinity. The balcony in the church, where black slaves had to sit, has carvings of slave ships and such. As far as it being haunted I dont know. I have been there many times and never had anything happen. It is spooky though.

Hey does anyone know how to gain permission to Old Trinity Church. I understand by the comments listed that it seems as if the cops are on and off. But to be safe, before my team heads from NH to CT to investigate we’d like to gain permission.
Thanks,

Triity Episcopal Church owns Old Trinity. It is actively being used, and the cemetery is our parish burial ground still in use today. The church has no basement, and Michael Ross never left a victim on the property. The grounds are maintained and the church is open during the summer on Wednesdays and Sundays from 2-4, with Evening Prayer conducted at 4 on Sunday. The property is posted and the CT State Police patrol regulary. The church does prosecute trespassers. Paranormal societies are not welcome, the church is not haunted. Any off-season requests may be directed to Trinity Episcopal Church, Brooklyn.

Whoever started this sick story is full of sh**!! One of his victim’s was my friends aunt. The bodies were all scattered around that part of Connecticut. We weren’t allowed to go anywhere for a while. Trinity Church is spooky like a lot of old places in Connecticut are spooky, but it has nothing to do with Micheal Ross. If you’re going to tell a story, get your facts straight. Making something ghoulish for thrills out of those families’ pain is just plain cruel and sick. My friend’s family was never the same–her grandmother only sat around, looking at old photo albums and her mother became an alcoholic and her and her sister were left to fend for themselves. Think of them when you are making stupid sh** up that doesn’t even match the known facts. Jerk!!!
