On the Fence
This house was the site of Indiana’s most atrocious murders. A man came home after a tough day at work and snapped. He decapitated his entire family and placed their heads on fence posts. Before police arrived, the man shot himself in the mouth. Today, the house is haunted. Many have seen heads strewn throughout the house upon first glance only to later see them disappear.

I went to that Duey’s House tonight with my friend for the first time. I heard when you drive by late at night you see red eyes looking out of the window. I didn’t see any red eyes but I stopped my car to look for a bit, and all of a sudden I heard very quite barking. My friend says that a dog was killed as well as the family. I did however feel a sharp knife like shock throughout my whole body. At one point it was hard to breath. I will be going there again soon but during the day as well so I can see better. I will eventually get closer, and closer to the house.

The house is 627 N. 125 W. It is for sale, 68 acres however the odd part is the house is unviewable in the for sale article. I was at this house last night, went inside the basement, nothing really scared me as I was with a group of people, I am also trying to find the facts supporting this story, I am a believer however it’s difficult when there are no facts behind it. If anyone knows where to get it pleeeeeease let me know. Thank you.

i went there today. i went inside and could barely see. you have to walk down a short trail and hop a fence to get to the house. when you arrive, youll see a burnt down, rusty old car in the driveway, and its a red house. the front door was locked, but there is an opening on the side of the house. i went inside and after about one minute, we heard movement and sounded like someone sneezed. it was a pretty good adrenaline rush, im not gonna lie. i took a piece of paper that “dewey” wrote on. it said something about a court case. and it was dated 8/19/1964. i also found a book in there that was all about laws. so i think his daughter might have been trying to become a lawyer.

Yes, it so is real. The origianl house was torn down, but there was a caretaker house behind it as well as a silo. When I was 16, some friends and I went there, my boyfriend at the time was the only one willing to go on the property, he came running back, saying two pairs of red eyes were chasing him. While waiting, I saw someone standing accross the street in the bushes watching, and later when we stopped at a gas station, it looked as if someone had put their hands on my window. Down the road there is a cemetary that is also suppose to be hauntd. I’d like to go back, but I don’t remember excatly were it is, being that I am now 34.

its more in chesterton/portage area. if you get on 6 and go west twoards portage you turn left on 200 W then left again on 700, which is at the end of the road. then turn left onto 175 and its down that road on the corner. you can only see the fence with a large for sale sign. i advise you dont park there because the people that own it have been putting nails down so that people dont trespass.

the story is true in a way. the father got fired from his job and was having family issues so he came home and killd his wife and kids and chopped there heads off and stuck them on the fence then hung himself on a silo before the cops showed up and thats all. its just and abondoned house haunted by the family that has blood on the walls on the inside with a collapsed roof. you can barely see the fence anymore. you are not supposed to enter but it is for sale. its by 125w. you cant miss it.

This story is true I have been there with my cousin and there’s a sign before you go down the road that says restricted as your not suppouse to drive down it but people do anyway. Unfortunatly I can’t say it’s really haunted nothing happend when me and him went but I know the murders did take place.

Its a freaky story. My sister and I was taking a walk on the bummer street at about 12 am at night. The thing we saw was literally unbelievable. On the left side of the front door there’s a window.suddenly we saw a grotesque figure in-front of it. My sister even heard the barking of a dog which was not present there. we literally ran out of there. it really freaked our minds out.

The property is for sale, you may not go back there without a realtor. The neighbors will call the cops on you.

me and my bf have been there twice but never actually got out to explore the first time it was dark so we didnt see anything the second it was daytime and we finally saw the house its a little ways into the woods but it looks like a nice big house other than the fact that its boarded up. i for one dont believe the story about him decapitating his family and putting their heads on display i need proof of that one like the year and the police report i know its posted no trespassing everywhere around there but i may soon go explore i really want to.
