Quaker Cemetery
Called Spider Gates because it has eight gates, this cemetery is said to be very dangerous. Starting at the first gate it is said that one will hear whispers and notice leaves moving around when the wind is calm. As one gets closer to the eighth gate, it is said they will feel the sensation of someone brushing against them. Others have reported seeing people walking aimlessly around graves. As one gets closer to the eight gate, the sensations and images become so strong that most people faint. No one has ever made it to the eight gate. It is said that some have suffered massive heart attacks and died because they were over come with fear.

This place is truly haunted hands down.I went there and heard a young woman’s ghost horribly i mean horribly screaming HELP around midnight. also brought a Ouija and talked in center of circle in graveyard.Heard footsteps and alota twigs breaking in the windy woods. Also we asked a question just then a 4ft branch fell from a tall tree right near us.It’s the gods honest truth it’s haunted!

Hey for any of you jackasses that actually know what research is there are 2 Spider Gates. 1 in Worcester and 1 in Leicester. I tried to go to the one in Worcester because I live in Natick which isn’t all that far but I was with a ton of people and one guy was one his bike and didn’t want to leave it by the street. And yes cops do patrol that area often. The rumor that you may die by the time you try to go through the 8th gate is a load of ****. Maybe one day I will actually get to go in there. For those looking for direction the only thing I can tell you is that it is on the back side behind the old Worcester Airport.

When I was about 18, now close to 15 yrs. ago, myself and 3 other friends went there on a whim since we were all from Worcester. We passed through the first gate and noticed the truth to the rumor of the first 2 gravestones just inside the gate entrance were facing in opposite directions, away from each other. We saw the stone wall not far ahead since there were only about 15 gravestones. We heard you just continue crossing many stonewalls. We ended up wandering, all feeling spooked and crossed another stone wall, then a third. We heard the rumor was about crossing over 7 stone walls. After the fourth, we all got tired and stopped to rest. 2 of us saw shadows above in the trees and this was now at dusk. We all got a rush of extreme fright and panic and hard to breathe at the same time and raced back, even tripping all the way. We all agreed that some type of force chased us out. I will never forget.

Hi all I wanted to know if anyone has heard of any paranormal activity in the Fitchburg area, I am planning a visit soon as it named after my family who also happened to give the land for the university in Mass. and since I am coming I figured I would take in some “spooky” sites while there. Please contact me via e-mail if you know of any. Thank-you, James…e-mail at jamesfitch1@aol.com.

For all of you people that go to Spider Gates:
The Truth:
As of right now, there is only one gate. Back in the day, there was more than one. You can tell by where the gate used to be in the back, directly opposite from the gates in the front. I have been to Spider Gates, it is NOT hard to get to, and there’s a cemetery down the street from it, so the rumors about the 2nd cemetery, do the math.
Rumors:
For personal experiences and the phenomenal, I have heard something at the gate. I cannot explain what it was, but it sounded like a voice carried by wind when there was no wind. It’s rumored that there were eight gates, but all but the main gate were taken to some museum. If you’re curious, do some research on something before reading someone else’s b.s. It’ll make people more intelligent.

I spent the first 18 years of my life living in that podunk town Leicester (I was a wolverine). All I can tell ya is Spider Gates should charge admission. Theres enough yahoo’s who come to get spooked they could easily rival 6 flags. Anyway, having grown up in Leicester (off rt 56) and having been to this “gate to hell” dragging a keg behind me in my younger days….I can only tell you its a farse. Maybe the people who see ghosts and hear voices are either drunk, or forgot to take their anti-psychotic meds. I’ve taunted enough spirits there to force a life long haunting…and guess what? NOTHING. For us locals…its funny and a place to drink when youre a kid. For those ghost hunters who occasionally leave the comforts of their parents basement to catch a photo of Slimer (ghost buster reference). Bring a 12 pack and smoke a couple J’s, you might hear voices…but they’re all in your head.

You want a hunted cemetary? There’s one a block and a half away from my house. I’ll be posting it soon. There may also be a web page for it, if my friend Nick agrees to do it. Check the Pennsylvania section soon, and it should be up as CATHEDRAL CEMETARY. I’m waiting for the groundskeeper, who’s a family friend, to give me a night that I can go in and observe the last section of it that I didn’t get too.
