This is about Chapel Hill. My Dad told me about the light when I was a little girl and said that him and his friends went down there and saw it when they were teenagers he said one of his friends would not get out of the car until his mama turned the porch light on and even when she did that my daddy said that he booked it into his house!! LOL When I got older I told him I wanted to go see it I didn’t believe it! He took me and I DID see it. It came right towards us! I wanted to run but he said stay here and watch this! My heart pounded and my body felt numb as the light came closer and closer! When it got directly in front of us it disappeared and then when I turned around it was directly behind us!! KREEPY I know but I have saw it!!Then he acted like the truck wouldn’t start when we were ready to leave (We parked it right on the railroad tracks) but that was him messing with me!! I have no desire to go back!! I was so FREAKED OUT!!

This is actually in Flintville, TN. Or, there is also a VERY similar ghost story. It goes, a train was going by when a young man was walking home & something caught his head and chopped it clean off. If you go there at night, you can see him holding a lantern, looking for his head… Trust me, me & a big group of friends saw it… CREEEPY!

“Tobey” can supposedly be seen on the railroad tracks near the Hatchie Bottom behind the cotton gin in Mercer, not Beech Bluff. I have been twice and never saw anything. There are gates up now with a No Trespassing sign.

My dad has told me about this a few times…
He actually went and looked at it when he was a teenager in highschool with some friends and saw nothing.

i stop at the stuards store every night getting a drink from the vending machines. i’ve heard about the bell witch ****. i’m not saying anything negative about the towns folklore. but i believe its all ****. i normally go through adams around 1130 or 12 and nothing spetacular goes on except for some cops sitting at the old school or buy the old paintball course picking off speeders. i want hard evidence that the bell witch is real.

true I live in the adams/cedarhill area and its creepy sometimes but all in all its a great town and usually the ghost/spirits don’t bother anyone. but its freaky when you see it all for yourself believe me

this is in CHAPEL HILL,TN.. I LIVE HERE..I KNO… I BEEN TO ADAMS,TN TOO…
BUT THE RAILROAD TRACK IS NEAR HENRY HORTON STATE PARK IN CHAPEL HILL…I’M FILMIN A DOCUMENTARY ON THE CHAPEL HILL LIGHT…MY STEPDAD HAS SEEN IT….
