Reynolds Hall
Located on one of the lower floors of this dormitory is a communal shower in which a janitor once hanged himself. Today, the man haunts the facilities. The showers will turn themselves on and off and the bathroom doors open and close.

Creepy. Imagine using the toilet in a haunted bathroom. The door would, like, open when you’re in there and stuff. That’s spooky.

Actually I attended FSU, where this particular dorm is located. I have a girlfriend who lived in this dorm and I was visiting her one night. I used the bathroom in there, and even though the bathroom was empty there was a loud banging on my door. If I hadn’t been on the pot already I think I would have wet myself!

Yeah… I definitely just graduated from Florida State and actually lived in Reynolds for 2 years. There is no community bathroom with showers there. The bathrooms are set up as the suite system. Two neighboring dorm room share one bathroom with one toilet and one shower.
That’s not to say there wasn’t a community setup there in the past - but it doesn’t exist anymore.

I’ve lived in Tallahassee my entire life and everytime I hear this story I want to slap somebody. None of it is true. Ive been to Reynolds Hall quite a few times in my day and have yet to see or hear anything strange.

This is so true. I am from T. Fl. and have been in this same shower room many time as a student living in the dorms….middle of the day ive heard the water running when i knew i was the only guy in the dorms, a few times i went and looked asap, and found nothing but water running in the sink, or a toilet that had flushed…

It’s true. I lived in renolds and I would come home from class and my shower would have been runing when I was gone and would leak into my room. But no one was there to turn on the shower. my toilet would constantly flush for no reason too.

Yea… I lived in Reynolds this past year.. and have been in that bathroom about 20 times. I dyed my hair in there once too… Its could be true about the janitor hanging himself.. but as far as it being haunted.. I dont think so.

I’m not too sure about this story. I m currently writing a manuscript on Florida’s haunted places and paranormal events. I’ve been researching the paranormal in Florida for several years now and I have yet to hear of this one. Not saying it didn’t happen just saying that it sound kind of unlikely.
