this stuff sounds stupid and intersesting at the same time but i think you people are very stupid because you keep spelling stuff totally wrong, im mean seriously people get an education!!!!!!!!

Im josh, i live right in front of the 3 story house that your talkn about..I heard the same story, he said there son was killed on the tracks in front of the house..He said that he had ghost hunters to check it out and they told him they hda the most paranormal sites they ever had encountered in the state of alabama..but imma check it out one night I get a chance and ill let you knw what happens..And for the indian mills, ive been in them and nothin strange evr happend..And the hotel in cordova, people sneak in there all the time, and ive been in there also, and nothin strange there either

I know there are dog ghosts, because we’ve got one now. My roommate and I have been in the house with all of our dogs nowhere near the backdoor, and both of us will hear somebody scratch at the door. When we open it, there’s nobody there. We’ve even heard it while outside in the backyard with all the dogs out there with us. We suspect it’s one of our former dogs, Duchess, called Dutchy for short, who’s doing the scratching, but we don’t know that for sure. The only thing we know for sure is that we clearly hear somebody scratching at the back door and there’s no dog there when we go to let them in. We’ve even gotten into the habit of greeting her with, “Well, come on in, Dutchy.”

i would like to knw more about these stories and haunted places!some of these stories caught my attention.

i heard this story before in the town i stayed in its similar but there was no train that hit the bus or children but this situation has happened in almost each town i read about.

hello every one i live in alabama and my moms friend is friends with the owner of that house it was built i the ealry 1900’s and its for sale. A family used to live there and they had 3 kids one of there kids got ran over by a train his legs were sliced off and then it became haunted by the dad

I have lived in Cordova Alabama all my life. (downtown cordova to be exact) and i have never heard of this before now i think some one has made it up because there are only two white houses around the railroad tracks on that i live in now and the other doesnt pourch on it anywhere

I’ve also lived in Cordova most of my life and haven’t heard that story about the rocking chair. I also lived up the hill from the fire station and don’t know of a 3 story brick house. But I do know that Indian head Mills is destoryed and can b dangerous. Also the Talloola Bankhead Hotel is soon to be demolished as well. Which is a shame because there is so much history there. There is a book at Waldens and Books a Million having to do with Walker Co. that has pics of the hotel in it’s prime. Now u want to talk haunted? Try easley or boshell cemetary. We got awsome pics and evps. In one evp you hear. “don’t touch me!” but it’s closer to carbon hill.

I think that old house was destroyed. I went by there ealier this year and it was gone.

I grew up in Cordova and never heard of the Rocking Chair or Bridge incident. Many yaers ago some girls died in a car wreck of that bridge.

This kind of stuff is so interesting to me…but I have also been to this one place in Brilliant Al, it was so creepy, back when people were really bad racist they had hung this black man over an old little country road so that everyone could see what they had done…they left him hanging there until the roap broke and the man fell right there in the middle of the road, noone bothered to bury him or remove his body so the man just layed there to rot,it was horrible but every since then no matter what, day or night there is a dark spot in the shape of a man, in the middle of the road where that poor man layed there and rotted…no joke….i saw it!!!
