Real Haunted Houses

Real Haunted House

Royalty Theater

Clearwater, Florida

The Royalty Theater was once an old vaudevillian movie house and since 1921, it has been plagued by paranormal activity. The theater’s apparition is nicknamed Captain. He is said to be a bearded, blue-eyed man in a blue coat and hat. Footsteps are heard moving across the stage when no one is present. On one stage wall, there is an image of a knife that simply will not go away–it has been covered by twenty coats of paint! Users of the theater do maintain, however, hat Captain is actually very friendly and does not harm anyone.

I live down in the oldsmar / clearwater area, I think I will check it out. I’ve been down St.Pete to Fort Desoto before at night and have heard all kinds of strange noises before coming from the Fort there.

Gives me the HeeGeeBeeGees just thinking about it.

I live near Clearwater and would Love to find and visit places which are active with spiritual and supernatural activity. If anyone knows of some haunted places to visit in Pinellas county I would like to know of them. Just moved here 3 months ago and have not had much time to explore yet. I am a clairvoyant medium and enjoy checking out haunted places.

I live about a block away and I’ve never seen that place- but I also have never paid attention. Anyways, is it the Church of Scientology that owns the building? I’d like to go and check it out for the Halloween season. I just want SOMETHING to scare me. All the haunted houses with actors/actresses are lame. If anyone is going, let me know and I’ll come too. lol. Hopefully they’ll let people check it out, but probably not. My email is Jhanna05@baker.edu

just reading all the comments, makes me wonder , why people are so fascinated about ghosts, does this means confirmation of after life to some? and why so many restless ghosts around end of the months?

I was born in Clearwater. Most of my family live in the area.I guess I didn’t pay much attention because I had never heard of this haunting. From all I’ve read or heard about ghost’s and hauntings, most are left over energy of a horrible death of some sort. It won’t explain them all tho. Also, from the little research I’ve done, a real ghost can not touch or harm the living. They simply do not reconize the fact that they are dead. To them people are in thier area/home. Therefore they don’t scare me. I will try to check it out tho, just for fun. Please forgive miss-spellings and such. I’m old and do not write much.

There is no doubt that the spirits can do harm if you don’t know what you are doing. They can’t kill you but they sure can hurt you. I don’t believe in ghosts from people deciding to stick around after they have died. The houses or places that are haunted are demons pretending to be people. I would love to go into one of these houses or places and dare the demons there to mess with me.

I own a “Writing Table.” This is how it works. Two or more people get together, ask the table questions, and it ‘writes’ back to you. Anyone in the Clearwater, Florida area want to give it a try? You can contact me through my web site at: http://ridersconnect.com/profile.php?sub_section=home&id=375

Maybe we can submit some footage to the Travel Channel and get on their television show the “Most Huanted!” Wouldn’t that be awesome!

I have a writing table that communicates directly with the spirits. Anyone want to give it a try? I can be reached on my web page: http://ridersconnect.com/profile.php?sub_section=home&id=375

Maybe we can film this for the Travel Channel and get on television! Wouldn’t that be awesome!
