Real Haunted House

Royalty Theater

Clearwater, Florida

The Royalty Theater was once an old vaudevillian movie house and since 1921, it has been plagued by paranormal activity. The theater’s apparition is nicknamed Captain. He is said to be a bearded, blue-eyed man in a blue coat and hat. Footsteps are heard moving across the stage when no one is present. On one stage wall, there is an image of a knife that simply will not go away–it has been covered by twenty coats of paint! Users of the theater do maintain, however, hat Captain is actually very friendly and does not harm anyone.

I have a writing table that writes what the spirits are saying. It really works! Who wants to give it a try? In the Clearwater, Fl area. My web page is: http://ridersconnect.com/profile.php?sub_section=home&id=375

Maybe we can film it and get it on the Travel Channel. Wouldn’t that be awesome!

Last time I heard, The Majestic was closed down again due to lack of business. I’ve never been inside there, but live about 15 mins away from it. Most people in this area are full of **** and like to lie about these things. I am a “spiritually sensitive” individual that is able to detect the presence and feelings and spirits lurking in an area. On some occassions in the past I have been able to communicate with them (depending on if they are willing to cooperate).
If this deal about a haunted theatre in downtown clearwater is true, I’d really like to hear something legitamite that doesn’t make me wonder if someone’s lying. Also, if anyone here would like my assistance or company on a legitimate haunt investigation, please feel free to e-mail me.

The old insane hospital was torn down years ago. I never witnessed anything unusual there but it did have ties to Al Capone.

I am looking to get a couple of people together and go to either the Biltmore or the Theatre and film for the Travel Channel. I have an home made instrument which communicates directly with the spirits. Ask a question and they respond. I want to film this for the Travel Channel. I am a graduate from their Academy. For more information, contact me at: Titanicbuff4ever@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Anyone that encounters paranormal events please dont take it lightly! There are many diferernt types of spirits, all of which are dangerous. Human spirits tend to do more psycological damages, while the demonic will physicaly try to destroy anyone around them. Only through Christ may they be Banished. They are 100% real, and can be anywhere. All negative spirits grow stronger through fear, so if you encounter one, as terrified as you may be, try not to show it! Contact someone who can help immediately! (ie. Priest, Demonologist, etc.

You can enjoy an investigation of the Royalty Theatre, along side of Tru TV’s Haunting Evidence star, Patrick Burns and Paranormal States (on A&E), CJ Sellers. The event package can be obtained from http://tapscon.com/gold.html.

Also, check out our convention being held at the beautiful Belleview Biltmore Resort Hotel & Spa, July 19-20, 2008!

I believe, if this is the place I’m thinking about,it was called the Ritz in the 70’s and it showed XXXXX
rated movies. I was in High School and heard about guys I knew trying to get in and that they really didn’t check I.D.’s. Of course we could get alcohol at the local bowling alleys and some bars too back then in the good old days…ha ha.I never heard anything about ghosts but I was scared of my own shadow back then…can’t for the life of me figure out why…

Not sure if anybody looks into the Royalty Theatre anymore for paranormal reasons. I do have to say that my band played there a couple years ago, and the building itself is absolutely beautiful! and the owner Socrates is one of the coolest crazy old greek guys in the world. Being an avid paranormal enthusiast I had to get as many photos as I could in. I’d seen some photos of appartions that had appeared in the seating area and one of the upper balcony. Looking for something like that I snapped nearly 30 odd photos, the only thing that turned out was a swirling ectroplasmic mist heading down into the basement? (i guess it’s a basement). It appeared to be the same consistency as smoke but had an extremely distinct swirling appearance to it, and looked as if it was spreading out from down below. The lights were completely bright and there was absolutely no smoke anywhere to be seen. Not sure what to make of it, but it’s definately an amazing building for sure. Socrates equates any unexplained activity that occurs there to be god or angels making themselves known in some way. who knows? maybe he’s right.

I have been to the Royalty before it closed. My daughter’s elementary school used to hold it’s talent show there. I was in the back of the theater vieo taping the show (which was so cute by the way) and I looked to my left and I saw the “Captain” plain as day. He looked just as he is described in many reports. Of course i did not know who he was as I had never been in there before. I looked the theater up on the internet when I got home – and there it was. I have always been able to sense spirits and often see them. Captain did not feel evil or give off any dark feelings – he actually seemed to be watching the kid’s show!. I hope he enjoyed it

OK.. most of the people on here seriously need to learn how to spell. second of all not all paranormal is EVIL. And being interested in it is certainly not either, and if SANDY is so against it, why are you on this site ANYWAYS? and “HEATHER” what the heck does being a “model” have to do with ANYTHING?! honestly. really im sure no one cares.
