Same as most of you, me and my wife heard this story years ago. So about 4 years ago we went to this school and tried knocking on several doors that looked like possibly the nurses office. Once we found the one that seemed to be it we knocked about 4 different times, on the 4th we didnt get a knock back, but the surrounding walk way pillars (the pillars that follow the path to each classroom) we heard what seemed to be a pinging sound. The best way I can describe it is, like as if someone hit the poles with the end of a pen, It was not at the same time but started from far away then came closer. Our friend that came with us took off running, so naturally we ran to. And believe it or not as we were running we heard childrens voices and laughter in the far distance, comnig from the soccer field. Cool encounter!!

ok, folks. I have to tell you. the legend is definitely one that has been around since I was a little kid. as a life long resident (31 years) and a rebellious, thrill-seeking teenager…there have been SEVERAL times that my friends and I would make late-night trips to good ol’ Mariposa Elem. After doing the whole ‘knock, wait for the knock back’ we discovered that it is actually the clock. you guys know what clocks Im talking about. those huge black rimmed, white faced school clocks that you can hear tick loudly. after freaking ourselves out and hauling *** back to our car about 10X, we finally had the courage to stay. 1st knock nothing, wait a bit, knock, then a ‘knock’ back. we timed it. it will knock back every minute. so either its the clock or this ghost has OCD.

I attended Mariposa as a child K-6, and teach there for 4 years now, I can tell you this, it the old clocks in the office… and who knows… sometime some of the teachers like to hang out there and play tricks on the kids that come and knock. By all means come and knock Redlands finest will be more than glad to great you.

I grew up in Crestline right at the top of the mountain range above Redlands/SanBernardino. I have visited Kimberly Crest several times. I have also heard about the Mariposa achool. I never had the chance to go to the school. Kimberly Crest has a interesting history. The grounds are spooky enough at night by themselves. They are also home to many un-natural things. If you have the guts to explore like myself and a very good friend (now my husband) did. the grounds are beauitful. Heartbreakingly so at night. Just remember your sage and quarts for protection.

people always say things r not true but u got to see it to believe it at lease thats wat i think but kimberly crest is creepy from wat i heard a little girl use to go and do shows there were tha therter is at and she had got hung but when you go late at night you will see her with her little doll in her hand looking at you and they say u can see a girl from the up stairs window but thats not true because me and my brother went trough the gate and went up there but the tv was on u just got to be careful because it has a sensor that goes off but when we were walking back we heard a sream and we stop to listen and we heard it again it was a girl sreaming in the rose busing but the creepy thing about it because no one was even there but like i said you got to go for ur self to find out and to make it even scaryer go with two people.

peep this.i been there before. it is creepy. makes your neck hairs stand up. you shouldnt mess with stuff you dont understand. you might bring something back with you.

One night as i was at my Grandmas house in San Bernardino and i always had a creppy feling about that house and anyways one night i was in my Prima’s(CUZ) Room with her two sons 3 and 6 so Jordan the 6 yr old wanted to sleep with me on the ground and my prima and the little one joshua was on the bed. For some stange reson i couldnt fall asleep and Jordan to so i was closest to the bed and Jordan the closet. And all of a sudden Jordan Had took a *Gasp* and grabed my hand and we had seen a red light just float on top of us i was so scared this was like 3 1/2years ago now im 14 but yea i Was scared .

in patton at Cambria Heights high schoool (1997) a young boy and his girlfriend died in her main class room .the boy died in his main class room, now when you walk in find the 2 main class rooms . you will hear foot steps ,a cry 4 help, and then , they will grab you!,.,.,

Hey people, the mariposa story is real. But you got it all wrong. In the bathrooms on the higher section of the school, there is a girl’s bathroom stall that is stained and the door is bent. The story is that a little girl got killed in that stall, so no one goes in that stall. It is the very last stall on the right and the door is light brown, while the rest are black and white.

I am a 53 year old carpenter and a long time resident of Redlands,I entered this web site to see if any one else had an experince with the Kendel house on palm ave. but found nothing,so I’ll tell my story….
About ten years ago I was hired to repair some damaged plaster in a small room in the attic of the Kendle house,the attic has three small rooms with angled ceilings that contour the roof line with a large room in the center,the three small rooms all have doors and were to be used as storage.The one my partner and I were to repair was the second of the three rooms,o.k.we arrived in the morning and the ladies who work here led us up to the attic showed us what they wanted done and left, so we went back down to grab all of our tools and lug them up three flights of stairs to start work,when we entered the small room the only thing in there was an old rocking chair and it was in our way ( the room is probally 8′ by 10′with a pitched ceiling and a small window at the end) so i moved it out into the large room, but when I touched it I got a shock like you get from a nylon carpet but, the floor was old pine slats.that was the first of the weird experiences up there.the second was when we left the room to let the plaster patch dry and have some lunch,as we left the small room Jason my partner said “look at the chair” and it was rocking by itself and continued rocking until we left.well that was a bit unnerving, we came back about an hour later to find the chair rocking again and when we said something about it ,it stoped as if some one grabbed it.well we were both freeked out about it and finished up the plastering rollrd up our tools and left leaving the chair right where it was,when we came downstairs to pick up my check i asked one of the ladies about the chair in the attic,and if anything weird happened with it, and i was told nothing more than “thats why it’s up there” well thats my story,believe it if you will.
