I live in henderson now and want to see this house, I hope you can just walk up to it. I think I know where it is at! To the dude who wants to start a ghost hunting society in henderson they already have one but If ya wanna go ghost hunting Ive been in the mood for a week!

Henderson Historical Society has a “Haunted Walk” they take people on around Halloween every year. This house is part of the tour. New owners were moving in during the walk this past year, and they let us come inside to check out house some.It is absolutely beautiful, but I don’t believe it is haunted. I am a member of a Paranormal Investigation Group. The new owners still haven’t experienced anything. The official story is that the girl was running away to marry a boy her family disapproved of, and either slipped or jumped out the window. It’s actually more believed that she slipped while trying to climb out, possibly breaking the window(the facts are fuzzy, but the window was replaced some time after her death.) Her face is on the house between the windows. It’s a decoration made out of terra cotta. Her face is also on both downstairs fire places and a few other places around the house. Her father placed them there while building the house.

My husband and I drove past the home on Center street tonight. And we both saw a face in the window of the second story. We actually drove past it several times and it never changed. It almost looked like some sort of carving. I’m still kind of skeptical as to whether it was real or some sort of carving. Although the house is very large and creepy.

Perhaps, only kidsa are able to see it. Think about this. Being stuck in a house eternity would be no fun if you were alone. Perhaps she wants a child friend to have fun and hang out with so she only shows herself to younger children.

i am in class bored so i searched haunted places in henderson county btw i am in north middles school right knwo. but i believe this all of the way… the hotel on washington street by the cats center is haunted to by the steel born baby btw again it used to be a hostpital you can hear crys in the middle of the night.!!! well techer is coming o gotta go
