hi im a mexican i heard this one before but it was in the devils mouth were they said it happends but think about it why would you wanna kill your kids then cry for them she sould of killed herself too.

this is just sychotic most of the stories are and I wander how people come up with them. It is so stupid some of these stories.

I also live in Kingman. never heard of this place till i found it on website last year http://www.theshadowlands.net I have friends that have lived here all their lives and have no idea where lauras Canyon is. But have heard alot of spooky tales of the slaughterhouse where alot of witch craft was performed at. They use to sacrafice people at. I know people that know this for a fact. And hot spot go to during this time of season.

Hi, I’m from Kingman and had heard various stories. Many people here call it “Slaughter House Canyon”. The slaughter house is still there. I have also heard that the mother hung herself after killing her children. And some people had said that you can see a shadow swinging back and forth inside at night. I’ve been there one night and it was really creepy.

IM MEXICAN AND HAVE HEARD THIS STORY TOLD IN A SIMILAR WAY.SOMETHING ABOUT A WOMAN WHO THREW HER KIDS IN TRASH BAGS IN A RIVER.I DONT KNOW WHY,I DONT KNOW IF SHE KILLED THEM.I DONT REAALLY BELIEVE IN LEGENDS AND THINGS LIKE THAT SINCE THEY CHANGE OVER THE YEARS.AND THIS WOMAN IS SAID TO WEAR A WHITE DRESS,AND CRY FOR HER CHILDREN.SHES CALLED “LA LLORONA” BECAUSE SHE WEEPS FOR HER LOST CHILDREN.WELL MY MOM TOLD ME THAT WHEN SHE WAS A CHILD AND LIVED IN MEXICO SHE HEARD THE LADY FROM HER HOUSE AT NIGHT..AND NOT JUST ONCE.MY STEPFATHER ALSO SAID HE AND SOME FRIENDS SAW A WHITE GLOWING FIGURE NEAR THE SUPPOSED RIVER,THEN THEY RAN AWAY LOL..WELL IF YOU WANT TO WRITE TO ME OR SOMETHING, THIS IS MY EMAIL

that is a true story but that is not how it goes this is my way of the story so there was a lady who was married to a man he was a crazt brucher who murderd a lot of people then the women went mad and killed her children and then after that she killed herself and her husband is a jerk that he kept killing people then he just killed himself to and now the house is really haunted by his presents now he is a evil goast and you can hear the poor children cries for help/how could anybody kill there children that is so dumb and now when ever you go in that house you can feel him in you so just be careful

Oh please, someone actually thinks this story looks realistic?!!! It is so obviously an urban legend or much more basic true story which has become twisted and embellished over the years!

This is the same thing as the la llorona story in mexico. The La Llorona goes like this.
I have heard that if u see her u will die but im not sure. She was in love wit some rich guy down in mexico. She had already given birth to 3 kids from someone else. The guy would not marry here cause she had children and had not been married so to prove her love for him she drownded the kids in a near by river. and the next day told him wat she had done. But he still refused to be wit her so she went in lookin for her died childrens bodys but the currents of the water were to trong and drowned her. If you go at night next to the river you will hear her crying for her children.But you know thats what I have heard I am not sayin it’s true cause no one knows the 100% truth =) laterz

I heard this story when I was little, though the person who told it to me said it was Bloody Mary’s tale. Of course within history and stories that are older with each passing year new versions are made and the older it is, the harder it is to know the truth. Who knows, they could have just died of starvation and over the years it became more horror story then tragedy.
