I’m beginning to wonder why ghosts need to have, whatever special phrase, repeated three times.

I think people should be commited if they roll down the windows and yell at ghosts to come to them. I would not be doing this is anyway,shape or fashion.I do strongly believe in ghosts and spirits,but I am not going to ask them to come to me and not let me be able to crank my car until the next day.

I just want to say that I think people should pay attention to what they read. The opening comment states that your car won’t start until the next morning…not that it won’t start the next morning. As if claiming spirits inherit energy from power sources isn’t stupid enough…it’s not even relevant to this particular story. Also, my two words to post this are ‘vigorous Bill’ and I think that’s funny.

I think the legend of sleepy hallow road is kind of weird and scary all the same time.

I live in this town and know exactly were this Sleepy Hollow Lane is. I can attest to the FACT that this is total BS. There are no lights on this gravel road so if you stop your car turn off the engine and lights and say this phrase you may get a little creeped out, but that is all. no ghosts. no problem with car starting (unless it has REAL problems) so unfortunately this is not were you go if you want to find ghosts. so sad. besides ghosts aren’t real.

Sleepy Hollow rd. connects this ‘y’ back together further up the road.
but if you take the left of the ‘y’
you will go a few miles if that.
There is a doctor with lots of land and a lake and a black chainlinked fence to the right.
begin looking for a gravel road to your left. Thats it.

Oh my goodness! I’ve been to this place so many times! But I wasn’t going to this road on account of the ghosts. I was going to the Gibson Co. lake to make love to a Mako Shark.. but anyhoo.. this story is TRUE! One night me and my lover, Hank WIlliams (a mako shark) had just finished up. He told me the story of Sleepy Hollow lane. I had heard it before because I live in Trenton. He yelled it and it worked! Sacry ghosts came out of everywhere! They were all naked so it was very humorous! One even tried to stick it in but Hank didn’t stand for that! Well I’d really like to see some comments on this! Thanks

I use to live in a town near to Trenton, I’ve never heard the Sleepy Hollow Lane story. So is there any one out there that has done this. Did your car not start until the next morning? If it didn’t start did you put the key in ignition?
