That house on State Line Road in Ft. Smith is NOT haunted. It just has some particularly reflective paint on it. The house is private property, is being renovated, and is heavily patrolled by police especially in October. Don’t go there. You’ll only be wasting your time and possibly getting yourself arrested.

I grew up in Fort Smith and as a girl, I remember the old white house on Stateline Road. Some say that it was painted with glow in the dark paint to make people believe that it was haunted. I always heard stories but was never brave enough to check it out. To know that someone murdered his family is so creepy! If you’ve ever seen it, you can tell that there is definately something weird about it! I live 3 hours away now in Little Rock so there is no chance of me EVER going back to see that place! LOL
