Real Haunted Houses

Real Haunted House

Some railroad tracks on the south side of town (the sticks)

San Antonio, Texas

While on the way home, a bus full of first and second graders broke down while driving across these railroad tracks. Rather than going to look for help, the driver told the children to get off the bus and push it across the tracks; they were struck down by a train. Now it is said that if one drives to the site and puts the car in neutral, it will be pushed over the tracks. Allegedly if one spreads baby powder on the back of the car before going to the site, he will see fingerprints when he leaves.

Hey everyone. heres my experience

Well, i was six years old and my mom and my aunt were gonna go so i decided i would too. (who wants to stay with their uncle and guy cousins?) But anyway we went but didn’t have babypower which i’m kinda glad of. But we went and put our full size SUV on the tracks, put it in neutral, and waited. i was in the back and looked out the window and saw a herd of little kids outside pushing us WHILE we were moving. So i curled into a ball and was screaming and crying. lol. it was kool though. I believe 100%.

I dont be live in this ghost story.Cuz when the police found hand print on the back of the bus. It could have been someone elses and print not the children. And when you put your car in N and you supposed to go forward. Well i tried it and it doesnt work. Thats fails or it could be true.

MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN THERE BEFORE AND SEEN THE LITTLE HAND PRINTS. THIS LAST TIME WE WENT IT WAS AROUND 12:30 AM IT WAS REALLY DARK NO LIGHTS ANY WERE AFTER THE LITTLE KIDS PUSHED US OVER THE TRACKS WE GOT OFF THE CAR TO SEE THE HAND PRINTS. I FELT SOMETHING RUB AGAINST ME AND AS I LOOKED TO SEE WHAT IT WAS IT LOOKED LIKE SOMETHING HAD RAN IN TO THE WOODS. WHEN I TOLD MY HUSBAND HE THOUGHT I WAS TRYING TO FREAK HIM OUT. BUT THEN A COUPLE OF SECONDS LATER WE CAN HEAR THE LITTLE KIDS PLAYING IN THE WOODS.

The wreck never happened, people have done plenty of research, and there was never a Bus-Train accident in this location. Added to the fact that the tracks are located on a slope, its obvious to see how your car will be “pushed” over the hill. A complete waste of time to go see, too many people out there all the time, and the cops will hassle you when the drive by (which they do quite frequently).

I was born and raised in San Antonio and I’ve been to the railroad tracks hundreds of times. It’s best to wash you’r car before you visit the tracks,to get rid of you’r hand prints.when I first went it scared the snot out of me. And it’s true, after you go over the tracks sure enough there are childrens hands on the back of you car. And if you want another scary sight to see, visit the espada park at night, supposedly one night was either stabed or shot to death and wraped and duct taped into garbage bags. And their bodies were found the next morning.

Don’t listen to those pansy’s up there. Their just some mexican hate’n morons, the story is true. Hey jon also did another study, and concluded that in fact you’r little slope is acually just an illusion. Sorry idiot.

I HAVE LIVE IN SAN ANTONIO ALL MY LIFE..30 YRS AND GROW UP IN THE AREA. I WORK FOR THE LOCAL SHERIFF DEPT. I HAVE WROTE OUT TICKETS THERE ALOT. SO ONE NIGHT OUT ON PATROL I WANTED TO CHECK IT OUT. IF YOU LOOK AT THE SITE YOU WILL SEE IT ON A DECLINE SO YOUR CAR WILL MOVE DOWN TO THE TRACKS. AND I HAVE LOOK FOR THE ACCIDENT IN THE LOCATE ARCIVE, CANT FIND ANYTHING ABOUT IT, BUT WHAT I DID FINE WAS THE TRACK WERE PUT IN PLACE IN THE JULY OF 1952. YOU CAN FIND THE INFO IN THE RAILROAD ARCIVE. I HAVE HEARD THE ACCIDENT HAPPEN IN THE 20,30,OR 40. IF IT HAPPEN THEN IT HAPPEN WHEN THE TRACK WERENT THERE.

I think its cool how the little kids leave their finger prints on the bumper if you put baby powder. Spooky isnt it.

I just found out that this is false, there was no such bus accident, and the streets around the area were not named for the children in the make believe bus accident, but are named after the developers grandchildren. You can read more about this false story on SNOOPS.COM.

It’s been years ago now, but my sister and I visited the tracks one night ourselves. We’d seen the story covered on Unsolved Mysteries, and had been curious, but it wasn’t until one of the local San Antonio news stations had done a story, that we decided we wanted to see if it was true. We actually called the TV station to get directions to the tracks. It is in south San Antonio – not the best neighborhood, but the experience is worth it. The hill actually is at a slight incline. Yeah, we did the baby powder test, too .. and we saw fingerprints .. but I hadn’t considered the “oil from your fingers” theory until now – who knows. We left the car running, put it in neutral, and we were pushed up and over the tracks. After you go over them, the road takes a right curve. There was a car behind us, trying it too .. so once we both made it around the curve, we got out and compared notes. We laughed so much that night — maybe a nervous laughter, not exactly knowing how to explain what had just happened, but it was fun. I hear there’s a long line of cars waiting to do this, each Halloween. What a great night to be “spooked”, but I would think if you really want to try this for yourself, to pick an average night in April or something ..lol. I’m sure any SA news station would be happy to direct you there, as they did for us. Its been so many years ago now, and we only went once – I cant remember how to get there myself anymore. I’d say open your minds. There are a lot of things in life that can’t be explained. Most of all, just have fun with it!
