Real Haunted House

Some railroad tracks on the south side of town (the sticks)

San Antonio, Texas

While on the way home, a bus full of first and second graders broke down while driving across these railroad tracks. Rather than going to look for help, the driver told the children to get off the bus and push it across the tracks; they were struck down by a train. Now it is said that if one drives to the site and puts the car in neutral, it will be pushed over the tracks. Allegedly if one spreads baby powder on the back of the car before going to the site, he will see fingerprints when he leaves.

Okay guys, listen up. This is not a ghost place. It is just an optical illusion. Just google gravity hills. Want to know where it is located? Okay- this is taken straight from wikipedia- San Antonio, Texas: At the corner of Villamain and Shane Roads. Travel west on Shane Road to a flat area before a railroad track just east of the right turn onto Villamain. Also, if you look on wiki you will find many places throughout the WORLD that has this same kind of place. They list exact locations for most, if not all of them. cheers!

I lived in San antonio my whole life, and I have been over those tracks like a million times, I’ve gone with the windows down, sitting on top of the car, with friends, family whoever. I have always been pushed over, but it’s never scary because a dozen other people always have the same idea. Also, not too long ago they built a baseball stadium right next door, and there was a carnival, totally ruined the dark, scare factor. I read on spoofs.com, a website that gives background too myths, & urban legends, that it’s all fake, and S.A. overly publicized a bus crash story that happened in Nevada; that actually makes more sense (because no one has any records of it happening). Still believe in ghosts though, just haven’t seen one.

When I was in High School my friend and I went to the tracks a week before holloween with flour to see if anything would happen, but nothing did. I now don’t believe in this story anymore because if it were ture there would be so record of the event and there isen’t any.

Years ago, I went with my daughter and her college friends. Put the car in neutral…..it is the decline in the pavement that makes you go across….it is not ghosts…and we put the baby powder on and nothing. It deffinitely is an optical illusion to it….but it is in the slope! The college kids we the first to point that out. I agree!! NO ghosts!!!!

Hate to burst your eerie nightmare.. Next time take a level with you. Though it appears to be an up hill grade, it is actually down hill . Leaving your car in neutral will allow the car to roll down the grade. No ghost, no spooks,….but the little hand prints on the back of the car were a bit weird. We put the powder on just for kicks. Little tiny hand prints all over. That freaked us out!

yeah ive been to the rail roead tracks and we put the car in neutral the whole shebang nut thats no the point the point is how do we know the story isnt true every doubts and comes up with all kind of excuses for the movement of the car but no one knows how the story origionally started. and actually i have seen the street names of the “children” from the
“accident” anyway the whole point is its still fun to experience even if the story is true or not.

hey people iv been there
but i think it might be true
if yuo wash your car right before you go there put baby powder on it
because if you dont wash the oil from your hand before it will stay and the powder will sink through the oil
so wash your car and try i want to know if its true
iv been there and all but its a down hill and you just go down the LIL hill in nutral ive seen people do it with baby powder and they had pretty small finger prints all though i went last holloween
so if you go there its up to you to think if its true to you
TRY IT PLZZ
I DID

Ok I’ve been there before.
The story goes that the bus stopped over the tracks and the train hit the bus before the kids where able to get out.
Now before you go to “The Tracks” you must wash you vechicle or else the oils from you own hands will show up. park on top of the tracks and put it in nuetral. In order for the to work it must be quiet. You will slowy be pushed over the tracks because the kids don’t want you to meet the same sticky end.
It is in fact true that the street names are named after the kids who died. It is also said that you should never go over the tracks twice but I’ve done it at least 3 times.
Warning it’s ILLEGAL to do this but it is strictly inforced on holloween night. If easily scared I suggest don’t go because you can sometimes hear voices sometimes even saying your name.

I don’t think anyone should make a judgement on this site unless they go and check it out for themselves. It truly is amazing. Drive up to the tracks and see what happens. I was skeptical…but over the tracks we went…and hearing the childrens voices, that was just creeeepy.

Well there’s a ball park right next to the ghost tracks and it really bugs me that they are sooo many cars in line blocking our way out of the park. I also grew up hearing the same bus accident story but sorry to bust your bubble IT’S NOT TRUE! There is no record of this event ever happening. But who knows what lies ahead becouse there are alot of young teens out of their cars all having a blast going from car to car with flash lights trying to see something, anything. You have to realize that this is a very dark area and you’ve got alot of traffic zooming by. These kids need to be careful. It’s ok to have fun but be safe and watch yourselves. It only takes a split second for an accident to happen so once again watch yourselves.

I really have doubts about the validity of this story but I believe in giving everything the benefit of doubt. I’m going to make the trip out there. Many of you have been asking the same question I was asking: “Where is this place?”. From What I have learned, it is located a somewhat southeast of downtown San Antonio. Depending upon from what direction you are driving, my general directions are to get onto the southbound IH-37 toward Corpus Christi. Continue on the 37 to the 410 Loop. Get onto the 410 going west and shortly afterwards, take the South Presa Rd or Southtron Rd exit. Continue on the access road past Presa to Southtron Rd. At Southtron, turn left, going south and under the 410. Continue on Southtron Rd. to Shane Rd. Turn right on Shane Rd and it will bring you up the the railroad tracks. So there you have it boys and girls. Have fun.

I went to these train tracks a few years ago with my mom, grandma and little sister. When we parked my mom’s 95 suburban on the tracks, it definately started to rock. Maybe the car was too heavy to move? Anyways, behind the tracks it’s even more freaky because all of the street names are named after little kids. Supposedly the little kids that died on that bus. It definately gave me and my family the chills!
