Real Haunted Houses

Real Haunted House

Some railroad tracks on the south side of town (the sticks)

San Antonio, Texas

While on the way home, a bus full of first and second graders broke down while driving across these railroad tracks. Rather than going to look for help, the driver told the children to get off the bus and push it across the tracks; they were struck down by a train. Now it is said that if one drives to the site and puts the car in neutral, it will be pushed over the tracks. Allegedly if one spreads baby powder on the back of the car before going to the site, he will see fingerprints when he leaves.

I go there alot, but some people say that the “finger prints” are your own finger prints. Nobody has a CLEAN car. And yeah the story is true, but if you notice the site where the children “push your car” is on a downhill. You can barely tell but its the truth! I believe but thats just some fact i liked to put out.

I’m from Houston Tx, but recently about 3 or 4 months ago I Went to San Antonio to visit some family. Well on day I stayed up till 1:30 in the morning to get a call from a friend of mine that needed a favor, so I left walking going East on 410Hwy to a Street called Zarzamora. I did walk to some railroads but im not sure if it’s these being talked about. Before I even crossed the railroads, I look to my left to see as if someone ran into the feilds. Straw was being stepped on being pushed down fast as if they were running. I was skocked but I didnt pay attention to it. My main concern was to get to my destination quick and fast because I knew I was in a city that I didnt know good. As I already passed the railroads, I just kept getting chills on my arms and neck every 4 or 5 minutes.

For those of you who don’t believe in this story need to because it
is true. I was born in San Antonio, and ever since I was little I have heard about this story, and have not only been pushed across the tracks, but for some reason I could hear a train. For all those who know the whole story… no train has passed through there in many decades. If you want to see the full facts on this story you can go to YouTube- Hunted in San Antonio. The story is REAL!!!!!!

the only reason the car goes forward is cause of gravity and the only reason there is hand prints on ur trunk is cause there ur’s

well, i’ve heard this EXACT same story. Only, I’m from Iowa the Illinois border and the tracks are said to be about an hour away in Monmouth, Il. I’ve never been, but i’ve heard plenty of people who have been and said it worked. So, maybe both of these tracks- in Illinois and Texas- are on a slope and the story just happens to fit them both. In other words- its bogus.

I grew up in San Antoni, and heard about the railroad tracks, but never did it- i always wanted to. There is also a place i heard about- it was always called “midget mansion”. supposedly the whole house is built scaled down for midgets. but never went there either. and when i was younger there is a hill where a castle/fortress used to be, because there was a tower still standing. I always heard that satanic rituals went on up there and that is was haunted, but i didnt go up to it until they buried the tower for the most part. i forgot what the hill was called but i believe it was near nacogdoches and o’conner, but not sure anymore.

Regardless of what you’ve heard, if you go to the tracks this does works. Be it science, gravity, ghosts, or whatever you believe, your vehicle WILL certainly 100% roll over the hill in neutral. I personally think it’s gravitational pull but if you want to believe it’s a ghost, go ahead. Although, ghosts don’t exist so tell yourself what you will.

the story is true cause we (and two other roomies) went there today. Of course we did it at night and brought all the baby powder and flashlights etc.
We had many things happen to us..
We had a run in with a bus, and then we saw a 18 wheeler with sparks and flames underneath it (on the highway), we switched the radio station and the first word that came on was “trains” from Paper Planes by M.I.A., and then when we were driving down the dark road out of nowhere two black dogs crossed and we almost hit them (it was scaryyy), we finally then reached the tracks and stopped to see if it would work. We sat there for a few seconds but we never felt the push. Plus a car was driving up behind us and we had to leave and turn around (there were bozo’s taking freakin pictures). So we went back around and put the car in neutral. (we already had powder on the car all OVER IT) The third time we tried it… it was weird cause I all four of us felt the car give a sudden jolt. We then turned around again and went around to the other side of the track. This is where it gets scary, instead of being pushed UP and over the track, we were pushed back. So… explain the gravity thing? its definetly not gravity. it was the ghost kids. We did this again two more times and of course these other two times we were pushed a bit more suddenly. We stopped at the nearest gas station and all over the sides of the car there were fingerprints. They were on the windows on the sides of the car and mostly on the bumpers.

All in all, the thing was awesome and if yah don’t believe us… go try it yourself one night, Halloween night will be even spookier.

It was also told that there was never any newspaper articles on it or never a story on the news all the streets surronding it are named after all the kids ive been there several times even once on halloween but they close it down because of all the people that go

been there done that, its an optical illusion, if u park with ur front wheels on the tracks and put ur car in neutral ur car doesn’t go anywhere. In order for the car to move u have to park a lil ways away from the tracks. Now my question is if ur on the tracks and it doesn’t move but if ur stopped where ur suppose to be when a train passess and the car moves, it would seem to me that the ” spirits ” would be trying to push you ONTO the track and INTO the path of the train. As far as the fingerprints go, is ur own finger prints, the babypower just reveal them. As far as the accident goes, it never happend, there is no public record of the accident ever to have taken place to begin with.

i went to the tracks one night i have a black dodge car and i did put baby powder on the back the kids did push the car off the tracks it was freaky specially when i seen all the tiny hand prints. and yes all the streets are named after all the kids. so this story is completly true but now because so many people do it that around halloween cops look out for this spot and will ticket any one that does this also that night i did it believe it or not u could hear the train and see headlights from it when we got to the bottom we waited for the train and it never came but u heard the horn.

I had the same experience one time with my family. We were going to see if the story that everyone was telling us about the pushing of cars or whatever..it was true

Sorry to say, but the truth is that the road is built in such a way it causes gravity to pull the car forward from any spot on Southton Rd. the street the tracks run through. I’ve done it before just like everyone that is from San Antonio has done growing up. I debated this with friends and even a friend who works with TxDOT who said its always been the way the road was built and that the legand arose over decades. However, it continues to scare people and amaze them as well. On any Friday or Saturday night you can always find Southton Rd. lined with cars waiting their turn to let the “kids push” them over the tracks…even I still do it every once in a while despite knowing the truth.

The site actually exsist, wether or not it is actually haunted by the spirts of dead school kids is up to your own interpretation. I have lived in San Antonio all my life and am very familiar with the story. Some littls known facts about the site are available through the archives at the local newspaper, the Express News. There has actually been record of the discovery of a body (bones) of an unidentified teenage girl found by some passers by just south of the infamous haunted crossing. Identification of her bones was made by the Bexar County Medical Examiners Office after months of drawn out investigation. The story of the girls murder was actually featured on the cable tv networks A&E show Dr G Medical Examiner. So there may actually be merit to the haunted tracks!!!!!!
