Real Haunted Houses

Real Haunted House

Some railroad tracks on the south side of town (the sticks)

San Antonio, Texas

While on the way home, a bus full of first and second graders broke down while driving across these railroad tracks. Rather than going to look for help, the driver told the children to get off the bus and push it across the tracks; they were struck down by a train. Now it is said that if one drives to the site and puts the car in neutral, it will be pushed over the tracks. Allegedly if one spreads baby powder on the back of the car before going to the site, he will see fingerprints when he leaves.

I was on the tracks outside my car and a ghost child stood there and smiled at me. I kept running and the child ran after me and its lips were stitched to where it looks like a smile. I keep thinking about that day and it makes me cry.

I belive that something is there because when I was little my grandma took me there. I didn’t know it at the time but it was a summer day and i had my arm out the window and i heard something and felt someone touch me as they park over the tracks. Thats when my grandma told me when I got home about the story there. I don;t know why there is no record of the accident but there is diffently something there. I f you don;t belive me then i dare you to go there and keep your windows down and see what happens.

Well i live in San Antonio and I’v been to these tracks..and to tell you the truth..its not true. The handprints on your car are old prints from either you or someone that touched yuor car, they never go away..and the tracks are on a hill so of course your car is going to roll. Plus there is no report on this accident anyway..i think its just a story to scare kids. Oh and the streets arent named after the kids..its just to go along with the story..by the developer.

I have lived in San Antonio my whole life, around 22+ years. Coincidently right down the street from the ‘Ghost Tracks’. Personally, I have always gotten a thrill out of going to the tracks. Whether its true no not, I do not know, there are no records of such an incident. But there is definetly something supernatural about the general area.

If you want another scare, right around the corner from the tracks is the old haunted asylum that is known but not so popular. I have taken dozens of people out there. The asylum IS haunted. If anyone wants to go there hit me up on myspace. (myspace.com/sinistermyth).

I saw this report on TV several years ago and looked it all up. I visited the site, near the housing development with children’s names on streets. I took a level and other survey equipment with me. Althought the street looks level, it is acutally a gentle grade of about 2 degrees down hill, except for the immediate area on and a couple of feet across the tracks, that is level. Across the tracks the incline increases to almost 5 degrees downhill across the tracks. I had just washed and cleaned my car and applied powder, THERE were NO prints, even though the car slowly rolled down hill and across the tracks (gravity works), starting about twelve feet before the tracks. Too much superstition here and not enough facts. Check for yourselves!!!

i do belive that this is true! i just got back from visiting and a great beliver in ghoasts. when my cuzions had told me the story i wanted to see for myself. so we all want in the car. i had my camera with me but it wasnt digital at all so i had to waite to see the pic. when i got home. gut i went twice down the tracks . the one time we did it without powder and the the second time i got my makeup powder and put it on the bumper only. when we did this i was talking pic. till we started to stop i didnt take any more pics. i didnt want to stop and look because i didnt want them to get mad becuse our car really didnt stall. so we whent up to the missionary ant looked. we found the powder that we put on the bumper was on the wondows as finger prints. nut there was one that stood out to me that there was no one that touched it its was a bit bigger than every one elses in the car.but then when i got home and developed the pics. and found one in perticular i found a little boy in the side mirror pushing the car looking forward.

I went last weekend and that wasn’t the story i’ve heard. Went on a saturday nite around 10 or 11. There was a few cars doing this activity. It was me and a group of friends. So i’ve been there before like seven years ago but they haven’t. We where passing the rail road tracks while we were being pushed. i started taking pictures facing the back window. I have 2 pictures on my camera i haven’t posted them. On the two pictures i have two images. I have shown it to people and its really scary. Now i have proofs.

went to san antonio this weekend form the 9th to the 13th and the family and i went there on the 10th during the day. i think the ground is a little slanted which makes you go down hill. u pick up enough speed to go down hill to roll you over the train trakcs but it was scary even at 5:00pm during the day. but it is not haunted in my opinion.

I have been to this exact spot and the car we were in rolled uphill over the tracks while in neutral. There were tiny fingerprints on the trunk visible because the car was very dusty.
This was in 1985 and I was 15 and scared like I was 5! We were there (San Antonio) for a 4-H meet and I have never been back. Two of our group members had an aunt living there and her daughter took us there to the tracks at about midnight. It freaked me out and I cried to come home to Fort Worth.
Funny now – but not then!
IT IS REAL!!!!
