Some railroad tracks on the south side of town (the sticks)
While on the way home, a bus full of first and second graders broke down while driving across these railroad tracks. Rather than going to look for help, the driver told the children to get off the bus and push it across the tracks; they were struck down by a train. Now it is said that if one drives to the site and puts the car in neutral, it will be pushed over the tracks. Allegedly if one spreads baby powder on the back of the car before going to the site, he will see fingerprints when he leaves.

no, the crash happened around the 1930′s to 1940′s. there were no teachers just students and the bus driver some say there was a sum of 24 others say 12 no one knows for sure, but they do know the bus staled on the tracks and the kids started making noise and the bus driver tryed to get the bus started again but before anyone knew it the train had hit them head on and everyone died. the streets around the tracks are named after the kids, but the weird thing is there is no record of this horrific crash happening. also it is true if you completly turn your car off it will get pushed over the tracks and the handprints will be on your car. ive done it many timesd to mess with my little brothers and cousins

My father was a EMT during the supposed crash and he worked that area of tow and there was never any bus crash. Also it has been scientifically proven that even though the road seems to be going up hill it is actually no and it does have a slight downhill slope to it. The baby powder on the car actually pulls out the finger prints that are on the car from others that have been in the car. Even if you wash the car you will still have fingerprints because the grease does not come off easily with water. I know that it is fun but honetly it is completely fake!

My husband and I and a friend wen their Friday at 2:00 am in the morning on July 9. It is unexplained but it does happe you do gett pushed over!! Also a man poured water on the area to see if the water would go down towards the tracks to see if it was a slope but the water went the the other direction so don’t know if it was a slope the water would have gone towards the tracks but it didn’t !! We turned the car off and put it nutrual and it rolled across the tracks and we were about thirty yards away from the tracks!

I don’t believe it. When i was in the children shelter we did it and nothing happen: we put the baby powered and went to look for the kids name. I think the scray part of this was looking for all the kids names that was the sad part. Now that i’m older i think that we should leave the poo kids alone. And if it is real “to so degree” What if something really do happen, would the kids help them out, or would they end up getting tired of people just coming out there to see i it is true. I think that is why people have bad thing ( like ghost) in there house because they go and look for them.

Honestly its not haunted at all i live in san antonio and its just because the level you are on which is why it moves and come on your car is in neutral lol, as for the fingerprints when you put baby powder on the only reason you will see handprints is because of the oil from whoever touched it before not a ghost of any kind but your own hands Sorry to dissapoint

I live here in San Antonio and it is true your car moves when you put it in neutral over the tracks. I’m not 100% sure if its the spirits of the kids but it gives me the creeps also the street names in that are are of people I heard it is the names of all the little kids that were on that bus. However, I heard they were hit by the train while still in the bus.

that was debunked on TV. it turned out to be an optical illusion. It appears to be going up hill over the tracks but actually it’s a slight downward slope. The site should take it down as an obvious fake.

i went myself…and it does go uphill.and we do move by ourselves…

They actually measured the slope and it does go down. It only appears to be going uphill. How have you not seen the show? There was never even a crash there. Not everything is how it appears. Any how you can’t argue when some actually measures it. It’s a slight downhill slop. they even talked on the show about how amazing it is that it appears to go uphill.

The railroad tracks have been investigated, it has been discovered that the bus accident did not even occur here in San Antonio, but in another location entirely, but was covered so much by the local news that people began to think it happened here. Also a geological survey was done of the area, and although it appears to be an uphill slope, it is actually an anomally caused by the surrounding horizon. The side most people approach is actually a downhill slope. The fingerprints that show up with powder are the oils from hands that have touched the car previously, and they appear just like when a police officer test for fingerprints at a crime scene. It is an interesting local legend, but it is just a legend.

yall guys are dumb to beleve that it is real it happend somewhere else and the powder is fake its your own finger prints if you want to test it wash your car before you do it and the reson that it feels like somone is pushing you its because inertia you go over a hill before the tracks im tiered of people saying its true so i needed to tell yall

not true! just recently myth busters busted the myth. that never happened in san antonio and actually the appearance of the slope is an optical illusion and the slope is actually going down. making whatever can roll, roll down the slope.

This was an actual event but they did prove that the road is an optical illusion and it actually rolls down hill.Sci-fi Fact or Fiction not mythbusters.

I know for a fact that this story is true. I experienced it…I took my nieces and stoped at the Shamrock Station, put baby powder on the trunk and back window before going to the tracks..put the car on nutural waited a few seconds and them the car started moving up and over the tracks…then my nieces started yelling OMG!!! look look, as I turned I saw small hand prints all over the window, then we drove back to the Shamrock Station and we got off and OMG…there were lots and lots of small hand prints…This is true…I have never been back…It scared me.
