Some railroad tracks on the south side of town (the sticks)
While on the way home, a bus full of first and second graders broke down while driving across these railroad tracks. Rather than going to look for help, the driver told the children to get off the bus and push it across the tracks; they were struck down by a train. Now it is said that if one drives to the site and puts the car in neutral, it will be pushed over the tracks. Allegedly if one spreads baby powder on the back of the car before going to the site, he will see fingerprints when he leaves.

yeah well we went some time ago, it wasnt our first time, and well we put the car in neutral and so it moved, but we were so surprised like the first one then my brother, in true curious fashion, turned off the excursion and apparently it works like that too… so i mean what the hell? yeah so my bro. heard from some of his co-workers that the road is uneven… so there i go trying to figure it out whether it was true or not… i tried tying a rock to a string then the string to the crossroad sign but apparently the floor is leveled or something, it was my brothers suggestion, someone told him to try that…

Wow, so far I’ve heard from a lot of opinionated people. I live in Dallas and I’ve never been to this site before. But from what I’ve heard, it sounds creepy! I hear a lot of controvery concerning the whole “hand prints on the car” situation. What I think would be a good tester is if someone were to wash the back of their car REALLY well, then put baby powder on it while ur still @ home. Let it sit for about 20 minutes, then go back and look. If you see fingerprints, then you will know that the babypowder won’t work. If that’s the case, try taking a picture of the fingerprints on the back of your car from all angles. Then, when you go to the site, and you see finger prints again, take pictures of those and compare them carefully, if they look the same, it probably isn’t real, but if they look completely different, it probably is. Also try to avoid touching the back of your car a while before you go to the site. When it comes to the whole “Car simply rolling down the hill” situation, you could videotape the car going down the hill, then find out how many mph it was going. Then find another hill with that same slope and let it roll down that hill, they should be going at the same speed, but if the one @ the site is going faster, than the myth is true! Hope you guys take my advice! I personally think that anything is possible. I’m not one of those people who think that science has a complete rule over everything, but I’m also not the type of person who believes that there a ghosts and spirits everywhere. So, it could be true, it could be a simple myth. There’s no TRUE way of knowing, but I hope all of my tips can help!

yes, i have born in sanantonio and during halloween you here this story alot. The way i have heard it was that their were kids on a bus going to school and as they were going over the tracks the bus suddenly stopped and corruption arose because a train was coming. it is said the bus driver left the kids and only saved himself but thats another story.anyway, so after the kids died they named the streets nearby in memory of the little kids. So, now when you go to the tracks and put your car in neutral the little kids help you over so you won’t get hurt like they did.there are many other stories that are about situations that have to do with this and i believe they are all true. So, anyone that is not a believer needs to come visit to SA and see for themselves

typical group hysteria and the need to believe something supernatural. why are there no videos, pics, or records? it’s all b.s., that’s why. people see and hear what they want to see and hear. the rest of us laugh out loud at you.

Well, first of all, the reported incident of a bus of children being killed by a train was in Utah (1000 miles away) in December 1938. The accident happened as a result of fog, slippery roads, and a late train . The driver had the route commited to memory, and he also knew the train schedules and knew trains didn’t travel those tracks at that time of day, so he didn’t expect the train to be coming and apparenlty didn’t hear it either. There were no visible lights of any sort or audible sounds, so he began crossing the tracks as usual. There were 38 children on the bus (on its way to Jordan High School), ranging from 12 to 18 years old, and when the bus started over the tracks, a freight train (named the Flying Ute) collided with the bus, tearing it in half and killing 25 children and the driver. The San Antonio aspect comes from a series of newspaper articles that ran for over a week in the city providing in gruesome detail the events that had taken place in Utah…NOT San Antonio. There was never any report for an accident of that nature taking place in San Antonio, which had something like that actually occured, it would have made news across the country. As for the streets in San Antonio around the supposed area, they were named after the developer’s grandchildren. I’m sure pretty much everyone has placed their hands on their trunks or on the back of their car at some time or another, and the oil from your hands that causes fingerprints stays behind for quite some time, so when you dust your car for fingerprints after its supposedly “pushed” of course you’re going to find them. And also, when you put your car in neutral, it doesn’t take much gravitational force at all for it to roll. Even the slightest hill can cause something that heavy to roll fowards when the wheels aren’t locked. Gravity is a pretty powerful thing. And also, for the stories that say the kids or whoever got out to push the bus over the tracks…who in their right mind would actually attempt to push it over the tracks if a train was coming?? Any logical person would see/hear the train and immediately get away…it’s called a survival instinct. People could honestly care less about a material object if their life is in danger. If the kids or whoever had enough time to get out and push, they’d have plenty of time to get out and run away.

It is true, I’ve been there before and man was I freaked! I live in San Benito Texas so when I was in San Antonio it was on Vacation. I didn’t believe it either until I experienced it. It was actually pretty cool..I did it like 5 times until I knew it was for reals.

How you people can get on here and lie like this is so unreal. Anyone claiming that accident ever happen is a moron. I dont care where you live or who you know or what you were told that whole story is a lie its nothing more than lore. the one thing most people dont tell you is that they have done research there and its a bunch of b/s. No bus of children were ever killed at that site period. Do your home work before you come on here and lie to people. Anyone who doubts what I say go check the local news outlets during that time and you will see for yourself.

I was directed to the supposed site of the crash by some friends, so the next night my brother and i road our bikes out there, then it dawned on me…damn!,..we forgot to bring the car..was i ever
pissed at myself , so i sat on the tracks my self, put the powder
on the seat of my pants and sure enough i felt afew hands on
my kester!,…but being the over weight slob Iam , ‘THEY’ couldnt
budge me !
Suddenly we hear the sound of a vehicle approaching and it pulled
up behind me at the tracks and there was no one in the drivers seat..
the vehicle began to push me accross the tracks and as soon as I cleared the tracks ..I turned around and it was gone..
just my friend and I !
I told my buddie,..”WOW!!.. now those are some industrius lil` ghosts
to get me accross like that!
What really got me …was the message scrawled in the gravel by little fingers next to the tracks,..it read ; LOSE SOME WEIGHT LARDBUTT!
THAT EXPERIANCE WAS REALLY …PHAT!

In a way i wanna beleive this story but i really dont.Theres alot of different ways the story is told; theres the one about the kids being left there by themselves. If that story is true id beleive it because the kids were on the bus and couldn’t get off on time to get away from the train. Theres also the one where the man makes the kids push the bus; knowing how loud the trains are you’d figure the kids or the driver would have heard the bus and ran. Not even ran, they could have tooken a few steps back and would have been out of the trains way. Same with the story of the High School students, robert said they were 12-18 yrs old, if they would have gotten off the bus they could have had time to get out of the trains way. He also said there was 38 kids on the bus but the train killed 25 and the driver. Then what happened to the other 12 on the bus. The thing of putting the car on nuetral, if the the tracks are slanted then of course the cars gonna move. The powder i cant explain that, but maybe something different happened that had nothing to do with the train tracks. i wouldnt wanna go to the site because i think its a waste of time. But yet thats my opinion.

What utter rubbish. The ground probably isn’t level. The finger prints are probably from the owner of the car from when you open and close the car boot. Bet if you put power onto most cars and leave it there for a time you will see ‘what looks like finger prints’. Also do you really think it would be that easy to request the dead to push a car a distance in the first place!! Get real. If that is the case then doe anyone know of a ghost which will come round mu house and do a bit of slabbing of my front lawn, oh can they also collect my kids from school, or suggest the winning lottery numbers this Saturday etc etc etc. Tell you what should WE ALL hold hands and connect the LIVING instead! Rubbish all rubbish.

OK sweethearts. I’m not going to say that this is real and I’m not going to say that it isnt (eventhough my mom says she has been there and says it is true). But things happen whether we can explain them or not. Trying to justify of what happens out there is just useless, no one will ever find answers to mysteries like this story. I say everyone should go out and atleast try this once. I havent tried it yet, but I plan to in the near furture. I have heard stories from family and friends and they all say it is true. I just wish everyone could have respect for other peoples beliefs and try not to step on them.

This sounds pretty believable. I don’t live near the sight, but I have heard of a few of my friends trying it. They say that the car did move (it was a hummer) and there were tiny handprints on the back windshield. They can’t explain how it happened, and neither can I.

hello, THIS IS TRUE, i went there and put my car in neutral and got out with my digital video camera, and you can see two little figures in the video at the rear of my car pushing it. I had baby powder on the trunk and bumper and there were little handprints in the powder and i have that on video too. Im pretty sure the prints are not from me, since I washed my car clean before I took it to the tracks. Bottom line is if you dont believe, take a video camera up there with you and get out of the car and tape it. Thats what I did and I now believe.
