this house was featured in juice for halloween unfortunaly its not a house that you can visit and walk through the present owners supposible wont allow it they have to continue to repair the one room that goes up in flames every anniversary i guess no one has proved if its real or not!

Yesterday me and my friends went to the 13 steps cemetary and the anamosa cemetary and matsels bridge and at the bridge we shut our car off and sat there in neutral for about 5 minutes and were about to leave when my friend rolled down his window and said were out of gas we need help across the bridge at that very momment we started moving backwards and then slowed down then we said alright a little bit more at that moment we rolled backwards at a very good pace my friend got scared and started the car and put it in first and pined it we pulled over up the road and there were hand and finger prints across the hood and front bumper.

If its the one that WAS on se 14th, that one was very creepy. It had a room, that had no door to it. You could see it from where the fire burned through the wall!

I’ve been in the house as well many times and yes it is very haunted. I saw and experienced many things. From bieng pushed to seeing things fly out of cabinets to footsteps and locked doors bieng swung open also the smell of fire and smoke and also the documented photo.The last time I was there I vowed to never go in again. The house is on Hickman Rd, but I won’t divulge the address either as no one wants to be bothered, I was only there as I was friends with the owners son.

yea it seems everyone wants to experience a haunting. i LIVE in a haunted house in des moines ia. ive bin here for my entire life and to start off NO NOBODY can come just to visit and bother anything or anyone in my place of living. i wouldnt risk my familys health for your entertainment. this isnt a flipn carnival. people if you want to experience stuff like that why dont you invest in some equipment and i guarantee you will find something in YOUR OWN place of residence, but fair warning you may not like what you find and they may not like you intruding because after all its them who control things not you. you have to learn to share your home just as if you had to share it with a roommate.

There is a house in Villisca, IA that is haunted but it was not set on fire and does not burst into flame, also 8 people were murdered there-not 6. Completely different house, completely different story. In 1914, a family of 6 and the 2 neighbor girls that were spending the night, returned home from church activities and went to sleep. After the family was sleeping, the person hiding in their attic came out and brutally axed them all. This house is haunted, I’ve been there. Yes you can go to it for a price, but it’s worth it. Also-you don’t have to spend the money to spend the entire night-you can pay a minimal fee and spend an hour or two inside alone or with your friends. If you go at night bring flash lights as there is no electricity. Don’t forget your tape recorder, camera, video camera, and your big girl/boy panties
