Real Haunted House

Spontaneous Combustion

Des Moines, Iowa

This house is said to be haunted by two men, a woman, and a child — arsonists who killed a total of six people through their blazes. Today, the house is known to randomly burst in to flames, though no damage is sustained. There are also cold spots and strange odors. Some have even been pushed down the stairs while in the house alone.

Anybody ever heard of hookers farm? It’s east of creston a few miles. (in the country) I’ve never been there yet but i want to! My brother in-law’s dad went there one time when he was younger and he said that somebody came out after them with a gun!

I’m a lead investigator for a paranormal research group called OSPRI which is based in Olathe Kansas. I’ve been on several investigations both of private and public places. When I’ve been on these investigations you always go into with a skeptical mind. I’ve been to houses in which people claim to hear voices and things get moved around. Then when you start to look around the house you find pot seeds in the ash tray or bongs laying out. I’ve also been to houses were people claim to see ghosts but after closer inspection of the house I found a flue off the hot water tank and Carbon Dioxide was leaking into the house. This is orderless and can cause people to see things and even death. But I have been on a few that can’t be explained away. Such as taking a photo of a empty closet and after reviewing the picture I caught two what appear two children coming out the closet in this orange mist that were not there. Then when investigating a bar were two people had died I caught the image of a old man coming out of the wall.
Then also countless Evp’s of any of you even need help don’t hesitate to call or e-mail me.

Thanks

The bridge in Viola is a Lie. Went there countless times at night on roadtrips. I sat there for over 10 mins and nothing happened. I wanted to see some ghosts push my 8000lb truck across the bridge…Nothing, the only handprints we’re from me opening and closing the tailgate so I could feed our cows earlier in the day…….BS

As far as the address of said house, I do not know. I think this was a rental property a few blocks away frm St John’s Catholic Church and around the corner was a 7 Eleven. The reason I think this is because when I was about 7 we lived in a big three story house with double dorm windows on the third floor in the center of the block. I went to St John’s as did my siblings. When we moved into downtown DM (my dad who was a truck driver could not afford much and there were 5 children plus him and his wife) The house was grand in every respect a big 3 level floor plan with the oak staircase that zigzagged back and forth. Several things happened in this house. The first happened about a month after we moved in. My dad was standing at the bottom of the steps ( yelling a my brother) and his big craftsman rollaway tool chest just started down the steps on it’s own. It was on the 2nd floor landing to be out of the view from would be theifs. My dad barely got out of the way. He suffered a concussion.
The second incident happened 3 months after we moved in. My oldest sister and I shared a bedroom, in the middle of the night I awoke and glanced over at her bed, I remember seeing a glow around her bed and the indentation of someone sitting on her bed. I screamed and my step mother came rushing in and turned on the light, it was gone. I had to sleep with a night light for many years after this.
The third incident was more hurtful than any other and caused us to move immediately. My brother had the third floor all to himself and it was spring time, He decided to open the dormer windows to let in some fresh air and as he was doing so, he says he felt a chill and was rethinking the opening of the windows, when something pushed him out the window. Thankfully he landed on the overhang of the poarch, he had 3 broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder along with countless brusies and cuts. My dad said THat’s it we are moving. Many years later, when I was 20 or so my dad told me that he researched the history of the house and a little girl died on the third story in the 1900’s in a fire. So that is why the house you all speak of is the one I think I lived in when I was a girl. So the location would be approx 6 blocks awy from St John’s Cathedrel in Downtown DM. I have never even driven by the house since we lived there but I remember it as if it were yesterday.

I have been in a house on the north side of DM,and as i was sleeping in the front room of this place, when I woke up after hearing footsteps on the front porch, went to look out the window ,not seeing anything i was puzzeled, when i felt what i thought was my nephew walk up beside me and ask what i was looking at?not looking yet- i started to answer when i turned to look at him, there was nothing there,I got my gun and went looking through all of the house there was nobody to be found,my nephew was asleep in his room,it was strange
