Spontaneous Combustion
This house is said to be haunted by two men, a woman, and a child — arsonists who killed a total of six people through their blazes. Today, the house is known to randomly burst in to flames, though no damage is sustained. There are also cold spots and strange odors. Some have even been pushed down the stairs while in the house alone.

the house of seven ladders is true me and couple of friends just went there last night and then decided to research it and found this site. the house isnt there any more but the barn is and there are 3 to 4 cars and a camper that are just sitting there and it is to be suspected that they move so we are goin to go back tonight and see if they did but when we were there last night we did see some weird things and hear weird things and we have it on voice recorder and we played it back when we got in the car and we can hear music that we could not hear when we were walking and when we were standing still we could hear someone walking around us in the woods and there was no one else there this place is very real and if you guys are up for a real scaring the place is located on the gravel road on the left side of skate south go all the way down the gravel road and it is at the end on the right side it is in the woods there is a house on the left side though that ppl live in but i think they are used to people going there so i dont think they care make sure you take a flash light and a cross and whatever you do dont go in the ****** barn….we also have pictured that we took last night that show alot of creepy things in them but we had just put new batteries in the camera while we were standing back there by the barn and we got 4 pictures and right when we were goin to take a pic of the entrance of the barn the camera died….so if you go in pray to ****** god that you come out

I have never heard of the burning house either.
But have been to the House of Ladders many times.
What happened to the story about the girlscout selling cookies there and never returned …and then his wife died and he put the ladders up so when she returned from the deaed she could get in.(funny how the tales change in the years)
This was back in the late 60’s when my friends and I would go ..We also were shot at.
Woodland Cemetary is another place that’s haunted. And has the Colins Family from Dark Shadows buried there..has anyone else seen the graves?
I love to Haunt.

The Matsell’s Bridge experience is not a hoax. I tried it this evening when a friend told me about it. I tried it from both directions. The first time, I was facing North, and was just barely on the bridge. I put the car in neutral and turned the vehicle off. The car was still for approximately 20 seconds and then moved 10-12 feet and stopped. I then repeated this test approaching the bridge facing South. I was willing to discredit it to the grade or other factors on the bridge, but I did note that the tires were rolling and not sliding. The second time, I pulled further onto the bridge and again put the car in neutral. This time also, the car was perfectly still for approximately 20 seconds and then the car began to slowly roll forward. It “felt” like an external force was pushing the car and was not rolling due to the grade of the surface. The car travelled approximately 20-25 feet and then stopped. There is very little grade to the bridge that I could note and it is relatively flat by visual observation. Experiments on slight grades did NOT exhibit the same effect as what was experienced on the bridge. Experiments of having someone push the car did result in the same sensation I perceived while sitting on the bridge with the car in neutral and no visible force pushing the car. I did not hear voices and did not see any handprints on the exterior surfaces of the vehicle. However, I did not read about the baby powder until I did some research on this website. I will try this again tomorrow evening and use baby powder.

experiment repeated with same results. brought two additional witnesses and took photos. A transparent child’s face can be seen in one photograph. I was neutral about this but now think there really is something to the bridge. Very little that I can find for the history. If there is someone that does paranormal investigations, please contact me, I will share my information.
