State Capitol Building
The Colorado State Capitol Building is connected to several others by a series of tunnels. Originally, these tunnels were used to move coal from place to place for heating purposes. One female apparition who wears long turn of the century style dresses is known to haunt the area. She has been seen in all of the buildings and the tunnels themselves. Very inquisitive, the woman is said to have been seen reading over the shoulders of employees.

The only verifiable ghosts on this site are the unquiet spirits of butchered grammar, murdered punctuation and dismembered spelling!

if u all want to read on any of these sightings, i suggest the book phil goodstein wrote called Denver’s ghost of Capitol Hill. these places and more are explained in great detail, as Denver is steeped in ghosts, mostly of slave owners that being dnever colorado was the slave country of the west…

Well I worked there in 1997 at night. I can tell you that one day I went into one of the conference rooms on the 3rd floor, and when I opened the door there were sworms of moths, I quickly shut the door and got a co-worker, and when he opened the door there was nothing, not even one. Then one day I was opening one of the doors to the legislators offic and I heard a banging noise, it kept getting louder and louder and when I turned the door nob it stopped.
