Stepp Cemetery
In this cemetery, only accessible by foot, around midnight, an apparition of a lady appears on a rock that resembles a chair. On Halloween, many cult groups venture to this place to conduct ceremonies.

Go north on Walnut Street out of Bloomington. As you start leaving town (i.e. you’ve gone past the bowling alley and are getting out into nothingness), you’ll reach an intersection of Old 37. Turn right onto it.
Take Old 37 for 5-7 miles until you see Anderson Road on the right side. Then take Anderson for about 4 or 5 miles (again, a guestimate) until you start passing a big cornfield on the right side, and then you see a farm house. Be careful. There’s an old gravel road that goes off to the left shortly before it, and you’ll be tempted to believe that it’s the right one because it’s a spooky drive (I turned), but THAT’S NOT IT. You’ll want to go maybe half a mile further and turn left (90 degrees) on a nice newly paved road (recently paved it). It’s technically Bean Blossom Road, but it’s not marked at that intersection, so you just have to guess and cross your fingers. There aren’t many roads on the left at that point, though, so you’ll probably get it right.
So anyway, follow that road (Bean Blossom) until it dead ends into the National Forest Road. Turn left, and then immediately start looking for the entrance to the cemetery’s trail on the right side: no more than a tenth of a mile. You’ll recognize it by a short stone wall - in fact, the word ‘Stepp’ is chalked on it, with an arrow pointing back… there is also a lot of graffiti on the wall.
Anyway, so just follow that path back (it’s dark, so bring a flashlight for safety) for about a hundred meters maybe, and you’ll run right into a stone cemetery sign and you can explore the rather small cemetery.
NOTE: The cemetery stretches out back and to the left, mostly (just so you can stay oriented when you get there).
ALSO NOTE: Despite that fact that it’s unfortunately often a little trashed from partying, this is actually a really neat little cemetery, and I personally got a very calm, relaxed feeling once I was there (though I’ll admit walking up and back on the path was a little spooky). It also has some really interesting gravestones. First of all (and most importantly if you’re going for the spook factor), there’s a stone marked ‘Baby Lester’ in the back of the cemetery (all the way to the back left of where you come in). It’s a flat stone laid right into the ground. There’s also a grave with Russian on it, as well as a fairly recent one of who I think was an IU physics professor: it says “Never at Rest” (a particle physics reference, but also a little spooky, if you ask me).
